GTA V to Nintendo Wii U?

Definitely not. Wii U is a completely new console and the old Wii console already sold a lot worse than the PC platform. The closest sales-numbers between Wii and PC are from Call Of Duty: Black Ops. It sold 1.22 million copies on Wii and 1.42 million copies on PC but remember: digital sales aren't included in these numbers. Wii is already here since many years so imagine how bad the game would sell on Wii U. You and a lot of other people underestimate the sales of the PC-platform by a lot. PC sales of games has been improved since Steam was becoming more popular and if the sales would be so bad then game-developer wouldn't even bother to develope any game for PC.

like i said on the first page...according to dan houser the wii u has the same chance as PC

 

 

GTA V is only confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Why not the PC, Wii U and so on?

 

Everything else is up for consideration. That's all I can give you. The main thing is we are not... we are a third-party publisher. We're not Nintendo, we're not Sony, we're not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market. If that's on Apple we put something on Apple. Wherever it might be. I think that's the fun in what we do. We see ourselves as a content company that uses technology. We don't make it; we use it to make the most fun stuff.

I already have written on the first page (third comment) that the Take-Two CEO is sceptical if it comes to core-titles on the Wii U and it won't change anytime soon. Rockstar Games is part of Take-Two Interactive so how am I wrong? This and Wii U will not sell more copies of GTA than the PC-platform, if it would be ever released for Wii U. That's very unlikely. Like I said before the old Wii is on the market since years and it still sells worse than PC and digital sales aren't even considered! Now you want to tell me that the Wii U, the console from Nitendo that was released last weekend, has at all the potencial to outsell the PC platform? You can't be serious, can you? It might be the case with some little titles if let's say Mario comes for PC but titles like CoD, GTA, etc. will always sell better on PC than on a Nitendo console.

That's great news. I never had a nintendo console but I would love to own GTA on U, as far as I know this console is more powerful than current ones and offers more interesting features about the controls, obviously the game should look the same on the U because the game is only going to get ported but it should play better. The only prob is that both pc and U ports should take a while to happen if indeed they end up being done.

Zombie U looks fantastic and of course some lovely more Mario Kart which is a great party game same as smash pros. With the new Rayman and Pickmin looking fantastic as well.

The Wii is a great console. I own both, 360 and Wii. Yes I prefer 360, but I also LOVE Nintendo. It is not a platform just for casual gamers or kiddies. Zelda - Twilight Princess on the Wii is my favourite game so far, no game was so addicting to me so far. Not GTA, not Bioshock, not Halo, not COD...

Not putting the Wii on HD was a mistake in my opinion, but it still is a great console which delivers GREAT games. Graphics dont't matter in every game. And Mario is not just for kids. I grew up with it and I am thankful Nintendo gave me the SNES with Super Mario World back then. Mario and Zelda have more innovation than most games ever released. Many videogames copied mechanics from that milestones. I'm not a fanboy, but saying Wii is a kiddie console or has crappy games, that is just wrong. People who say this really need to grow up.

 

So I think GTA V would be great for Wii U, especially with this controller. You can have the map on the screen while playing on the TV. THAT would be f*ckin awesome!!

Nintendo is a great company, just because they focus in family games doesn't mean they don't have any good games in there, they even said they don't care about graphics and power and all that.
