DonCaffa
His voice over in the first and second trailer is technically to us, since he is the narrator. It's like a movie, sometimes main characters voice over during the film to bring the story together a bit. Goodfellas style!

Duxfever
By the way...what does he say in the beginning at the pool? I hear 'Give a sh*t on it' but that can't be it. What is it exactly he says? "Hell, I've been in this game for a lotta years, and I got out alive. If you want my advice, give the sh*t up." I'm not sure if he's talking to his therapist, or whomever he's talking to, in the second trailer. The context doesn't seem fitting to me.
-Eddie-
In the first trailer it seems as though he's talking to his therapist or the FIB. Most likely his therapist as he seems to be voicing his frustrations and worries. The second he finished his sentence in the second trailer I thought it was to Franklin about his life. Hell I've been in this game for a lotta years, and I got out alive. If you want my advice, give this sh*t up 'this sh*t' being the life of crime. Snake Without a Tongue
The trailers from IV cut up dialogue from different conversations. But I'd say the opening to Trailer #2 is addressed to Franklin.
Dick Justice
It could be anyone. Niko's famous line from the first GTA IV trailer was said to Ileyna Faustin. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire "Why did I move here" speech was said to his therapist, to Trevor, or to a neighbour even. But the "give this sh*t up" line is almost definitely spoken to Franklin.

Interesting...so basically he lives a very good life in terms of money and things, he says its best to give the sh*t up...yet he goes back into that life. I wonder what makes him make that decision. I mean look at his life..may be not happy with his family, but he has nothing to complain in terms of finances...or does he?
saintsrow
I think that all the dialog including that used as voiceover or narration in the Trailers, is all from custscenes. From GTA IV and RDR, it's clear that these lines of voiceover dialog have context that would be hard to guess, from the usage in the Trailer alone. So it's only speculation regarding who those lines are directed to. True, the "give this sh*t up" line seems like it would be directed to Franklin. So who is Michael possibly talking to with his first lines "Why did I move here? ..." in Trailer #1?
