Andreas
i have to say in those iv pictures xbox looks sharper though it does make sense that it will be easier to put v on pc considering max payne 3 is already on pc Okay, it's maybe not a copy-paste work in this case but Rockstar has earned experience in making Max Payne 3 for PC. According to vgchartz Max Payne 3 sold 1.11 million copies on Xbox 360, 1.07 million copies on Playstation 3 and 0.21 million copies on PC. The consoles-PC-sales ratio seems a bit better there and as if this isn't enough digital sales aren't even incorporated in these numbers. Max Payne 3 was number one in Steam for a few weeks after the release on PC so I think it didn't sell bad on PC even though Take-Two reported that the overall-sales were under their expectations. I think that this game worked out well on PC for Rockstar Games. Andreas
they said they can only do what we want where there is a business oppurtunity and its seems they think there are no business oppurtunities like they said about lack of red dead redemption pc because these games will sell tens of millions on ps3 and xbox 360 alone while pc may sell from 3 million to 6 million copies they think that it was small percentage to console sales which were around 30 million.small games like max payne 3 and la noire will make appearance on pc because their sales will be less on consoles.there they see business oppurtunities on pc.gta will be released on wii u but not for pc.its a sad fact.maybe starting a petition to bring gta v on pc like pc gamers did with dark souls may help.if dark souls pc can reach 100000 signatures gta v pc can reach millions of signatures. Adriaan
@sats Read the question again that IGN gave: Why not the PC, Wii U and so on So the answer wasn't related to PC specifically . IGN was smart because that was the only way they would have gotten an answer. Or dumb. Don't you think all the other publications would have asked about PC that did interviews? That's like the main thing everyone wants to know. So Rockstar didn't give those publications an answer, because they don't want to say "No". The question and answer at IGN is different. How accurate is that? I think that website is not trustable. Well, vgchartz is a trustworthy website but it doesn't show the numbers of some games. I think it's because EfLC consists of DLCs (TLaD, TBoGT) and vgchartz usually don't show them. @zzcool: I think the answer would be different because the question would be basically different. TenEightyOne
I hope you understand the irony of anyone posting that picture... spell-check it if you don't know what I mean OT: The PC versions of multi-platform games don't give such a good financial return (for many reasons), it's not surprising to see them getting a lower attention rating... but I hope that as many people as possible are able to get the game as soon as possible. I'll be buying it for PC when it's out on that platform, for now I just need to decide whether to get the release version for XBox 360, PS3 or both. It was risky for Rockstar to do a PC version for Red Dead Redemption because it's a western game and if you look at the past finance reports of Take-Two then you can see that RDR sold way better than originally expected. Red Dead Redemption costed about 80-100 million dollar in the development and Max Payne 3 costed more than 100 million dollar. So I don't see how you can call Max Payne 3 a "smaller game" if you compare it to Red Dead Redemption. L.A. Noire was a project from Team Bondi and Rockstar helped in the last 3 years of its development and they have ported the game to PC and XBox 360. And also Rockstar has promoted L.A. Noire. The game sold more than 5 million copies and it's still less than Rockstar Games expected so I don't have an idea how you can call this game a "small game" compared to Red Dead Redemption. I would like to see what you have to say and what ideas you're creating now to speak against these points. If there really are no plans at all for a PC version, there doesn't seem to be a reason not to give a straight "no" answer. You wouldn't want people who own a console and a PC to hold back from the console purchase in the hope of something coming that they are not going to make. I don't hold out much hope of a release that is only a few weeks after the consoles though. I think we are looking at 3-6 month delay.

reform
R* aren't going to hold off on releasing the easier to debug console versions in order to release a much harder to debug PC port at the same time. It would make no sense. Not only does it mean a longer wait before R* can get some $ for their work, it also means console users are waiting about for no reason. Stop raging and get some common sense.

You have perfectly ignored everything I have said so far. How do you know that people wanted rather Red Dead Redemption than L.A. Noire on PC? Have you studied marketing and have you made statistics that you can prove that? You should do some research to all things I have said so that you know I'm right. By the way it makes absolutely no sense to say that Rockstar would port their, how you call it, "smaller games" to PC but their bigger games not. They would make much more profit in porting their big games for PC rather than their "smaller games". It makes not sense at all. Like I said before Red Dead Redemption came never for PC because the game was developed by Rockstar San Diego, a studio whose last game for PC came out 9 years ago. L.A. Noire was developed by Team Bondi. Rockstar North, Rockstar San Diego and so on have helped in the development of that game. Rockstar Leeds ported L.A. Noire to PC. All points you have enumerated aren't really valid. I'm afraid. PowerKracker
Let's hope this thread doesn't devolve into people arguing about non-existent Xbox 360 emulators or something else. People thought GTA IV wouldn't come out for PC either, yet it did. What we should be concerned about is if the PC port is ass like GTA IV.
