Rockstar always won and always will - it's their product There is no use fighting it, to them we are just pre-mature kids and they don't even take us so serious. They know their root plan works and it will happen again on V Rockstar has improved things a lot over the years. L.A. Noire for example was not perfect ported but it at least supported DirectX11 and with Max Payne 3, they went another step in the right direction. It has been confirmed that there is no lead-platform so I wouldn't understand it at all if GTA V would be a port again. I think it will be developed seperatly as it was the case with Max Payne 3 and I think we don't have to wait until the fourth quarter of 2013 to play this game on PC. I stated a ton of times that by all the evidence the PC version will be out not long after the consoles and it will be a version made for PC like MP3 was. It's more then obvious, the first screenshots R* gave were from a version other then consoles, the resolution is 720p, but the textures, details are higher, same goes for the shadows and shaders. GTAV will come out for PC in an independent version with support for DX11, it will be exactly like max Payne was. IGN was at Rockstar and I'm sure they know more then they tell, they have the PC version in their website and they didn't remove, I never saw a Red Dead redemption PC version in any website EVER, so there are people who know it but can't say because of NDA. I've read R* say that the trailer was entirely made from console footage without any effects, and I have no doubt about that, I mean it's obviously. But I'm still waiting for Rockstar to say that ALL THE SCREENSHOTS released till now are from consoles without any filters or modifications. I asked them in Newswire plenty of times and I even explained very well why and they just ignored it. They answered to dumber things but not even a word about that. Till they say otherwise my conviction is that GTAV will be out for PC and won't be another lame port and most likely will be out not long after consoles release. GTA IV was designed to run at 30FPS and that translated roughly to the PC. Getting the game running at any number higher than 30FPS consistently with ANY rig is like asking for money to rain. There are areas of the game where any decent computer could be putting out 60FPS, but even the higher end GPUs and CPUs cannot hold a solid 60FPS. I have an i7 Ivy bridge an an HD 7850 and at medium/high settings my average is below 50FPS. It is the code that is bottlenecked, and that is a result of the game being poorly ported. If GTA V is properly ported, it will sell much better than GTA IV and make many more PC gamers happy. With minimum I would mean that at intense battles in BF3 multiplayer 32vs32, then the fps goes a little down to like 60, otherwise its more than that. The GTX680 is more than twice as fast than a GTX550Ti. Your graphic-card is a middle class graphic-card from the last generation of NVidia so it's outdated. It's even weaker than my GTX460 which is from the second to the last generation. Music on my 7.1 making the place sound like a theatre, films on my projector, games that look so realistic you could lick the screen and taste juice. Not to mention vital communication and news source, finding out the latest juice from anywhere in the world in seconds. £1000 for a piece of kit that will last 6-7 years before need to upgrade some of the parts, totally worth it. YEAH BabY! Dude, I'm not talking out of my ass. I'm not kidding or anything. I'm serious. It was a bad idea to replace your GTX480 with a GTX550Ti. The GTX550Ti is 20% weaker than a GTX460. The GTX460 has about 60% of the performance of a GTX480 which means a GTX550Ti has only about half of the performance of a GTX480. I'm serious, not trolling!
