rampage08
They wont see much sales as gta series or red dead series for their smaller games like la noire or max payne.so they do pc version for more profit.but making pc version is not needed them for big games like gta.gtav if released on pc will sell 10 times more than what max payne 3 sold on pc.but rockstar would think console sales will be enough for them. i look at it like this, IF they think the sales on consoles will be enough, why not do it for PC too ? we all know GTA series is very, very popular on both consoles and PC, and there are a lot of fans from PC. That said, if they put in on PC too, they will make a lot more money right ? Then why did rdr never released on pc?.its the most popular rockstar game this generation after gta.nobody asked la noire to be on pc.i can see thousands of fans asking for red dead redemption pc.money only matters to rockstar.popularity or demand from consumers isnt. that is what i dont understand man, RDR is awesome and im disappointed PC gamer cant enjoy it, think about the possible mods for RDR. But this is GTA here, it's much more popular than RDR, and looking back, GTAs have always been released on PC (well the major one though) so that's a very good reason for the PC release, i guess. Andreas
The problem with rockstar releasing pc version is they estimate xbox version to sell more than 25 million copies psr around 20 million copies pc around 7 million copies max upto 10.10 million is a lot so much sales.other companies will be extremely happy with it.but rockstar always thinks about sales ratio of pc to consoles and they are not satisfied with it and delaying it also makes them worry as it may reduce sales as originally estimated so they think not making pc version at all is better in the end.rockstar was such a greedy giant.petition only may help. No offence but you're talking trash, lots of trash. GTA V will definitely come for PC. When Red Dead Redemption was released for consoles but there was no sign that it will be ever released for PC then people thought that Rockstar Games has abandon the PC platform. Then they have released L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 each for PC. They even said that they don't have abandon the PC platform. It's useless to make a petition about this when we exactly know that GTA V is coming for PC. We don't need a petition for this because GTA V's PC version is most likely already in work. GTA V will be developed seperate and simultaneously for each platform but the PC version will be polsihed a bit later. That means GTA V is coming for PC later than Rockstar did with Max Payne 3 but it will be most likely sooner than in the past as for example GTA San Andreas after 8 months and GTA IV after 7 months. We don't have to wait another 6-8 months but more like around 2 months this time. I have thought about it clearly in the last days and I came to the conclusion that Rockstar won't go the old route. They could have ported Max Payne 3 to PC properly but no, they even have developed it seperatly! I believe that this is the case with GTA V as well. It was confirmed that there is no lead-platform for GTA V so I think that supports my conclusion too. Please people. Red Dead games have never been released for the PC (Red Dead Revolver/Red Dead Redemption). So, I think that they never considered porting Red Dead Redemption to PC and the series cannot be used as a parameter. GTA's... the only GTA games that weren't port to PC were the "stories" series, the Gameboy and Chinatown wars, for obvious reasons. Now, see the list of GTA games that they have released for the PC: GTA, London, GTA 2, GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA IV, Episodes from Liberty City If they don't port GTA V for the PC, it'd be the first main GTA game that would not be ported. They do have many reasons do port it, and one of the biggest ones is the Crew thing that they've implemented. They plan to get people buying their games not only to enjoy the game alone, but also to enjoy the game with their friends through the crews in multiplayer. I have no doubt that GTA V will be released for the PC some months after PS3 and Xbos 360 versions hit the shelves.

Bitches_Brew
Report Bitches_Brew he is constantly replying and posting Bullsh*tE bullsh*t? i thought this was right on......... GTA V is only confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Why not the PC, Wii U and so on? Everything else is up for consideration. That's all I can give you. The main thing is we are not... we are a third-party publisher. We're not Nintendo, we're not Sony, we're not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market. If that's on Apple we put something on Apple. Wherever it might be. I think that's the fun in what we do. We see ourselves as a content company that uses technology. We don't make it; we use it to make the most fun stuff. that line in bold sounds just like this excuse for RDR... All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms. IMO, those two excuses sound an awful lot alike.

Can I print the confirmation of GTA V and put it in your face 2000x times and collapse your PM board when it arrives? DS 17
The only reason for not converting a game from console to PC is if the profit of a PC version won't cover the costs for the conversion. They cancelled RDR as a PC version, because it wasn't sold as well as expected on the consoles, so a PC conversion might had been too expensive in comparison to the expected gain. GTA is a powerful titel which is worth converting it to the PC. Just have a look at the sell statistics, then you will see it by yourself that a PC conversion will be a good business for them.
