Do they ever listen? The only suggestion they ever took seriously was the Crew Hierarchy thing. Other than that R* doesn't give a sh*t what anyone has to say.

New Pistol ("SNS Pistol"), and a new melee weapon ("Broken Bottle") coming in the "Beach Bum Pack". That's the kind of sh*t R* is focused on. I would rather have an update that adds Gang Wars for Franklin.

The Beach Bum thing is free and it drops November 19th. The two weapons are coming for Single Player, but everything else in it is for GTA Online. I just hope that SNS Pistol put in work.

I don't really post here. But, i've been following this thread and I used to follow Ghettos of LS thread i'm more of a reader here, but if Rockstar actually listen to these suggestions then i'd be down to do this. We need more activity in the hood lol.

General is GTA IV better than V in the gang department I only ever read about it and played it a few times.. considering buying it for PC modding it completely. Making Niko into a Rican Spanish Lord or maybe MOB from Firefly Projects. I'll add in gang wars and stuff.. taking over territories and drug dealing.. random gang attacks.. RECRUITING ffs..

 

I give up on GTA V completely.. they had such a long time to perfect and add on to the game in so many ways from SA and instead left all of the extremely basic things out. Rival gangs engaged in a war don't even attack each other.. not even drug dealers in the streets. Instead of this huge interactive world we got a dead empty one.

GTA IV had the same problem that GTA V with gangs, in that everyone and everything in the hood and ghettos was done right, it all looked great and so realistic - there was no element of danger or random violence and shootings. GTA V gets more flack for this, because it should greatly improved on it.

 

However......GTA IV actually had much a bigger range of different gangs than GTA V. On top of that, Niko can call up two armed gang members (Dwayne's boys) to protect him wherever he goes. This means you can take with you on any risky mission, start trouble with other gangs and do drive-bys on them, or just watch Dwayne's boys get into a shootout - they shoot at anyone who troubles you. In Ballad Of Gay Tony, you got Drug Wars, where Luis can call up his boys and go to war in gunfights with over gangs over drug-deals. At least these things made up for IV's safe ghetto streets. V could not even offer these things that IV did.
