What we need is an SA with a HD makeover (GTA V graphics), I'd take that over GTA V any day bro !!

I be jumping off of mountains and shooting at police from the air and sh*t... I use Trevor and Michael and go the Lost MC hangout and start laying niggas out... I buy fast cars and have the police chase me all the way to Blaine County.

 

And then there's GTA Online...

That's good to know, but since I finished the main storyline, I just cannot be bothered with it, there is just nothing else to do. me and my cuz were talking about GTA V today and he said the same thing bro. It's not even got a decent amount of things out outside of the main story compared to GTA IV, and I realized this more and more as time went by. Seriously, Rockstar need to take a long hard look at themselves for going way off-course, becaus it's a great shame that IV can actually beat V in important areas of gameplay.

 

And I'm just not big on the online gaming thing. I play GTA because it;s the best SP game franchise around, that's what I look forward to the most as a 99 percent SP gamer.

I've been a loyal GTA fan for over 10 years now, I played the original GTA's on ps1 but for me it really all started with GTA 3, and let me tell you I think it is a disgrace that R* are turning a historically single player franchise into some multiplayer/online bullsh*t. Thing is I wouldnt mind if they didnt sacrifice the things in SP but they are CLEARLY making SP the second priority.

 

Ever since I read the GTA:O previews back in Aug I knew exactly what direction they were taking the franchise in, and all the wasted SP potential (including hood missions that a lot of you guys want) in GTA V is proof of this new direction.

 

Its just annoying as loyal GTA fan that they're doing this, I've always given R* high ratings and have never been one to flame them, but they've dropped the ball with all this online nonsense.

I couldn't agree more. I felt the exact same way when GTA Online sh*t started coming up. I'm just trying to make the best of it, though. I paid $63 for this sh*t and I knew what I was paying for.

Honestly bro, it's left a major sour taste in my mouth, hence why I'm on these forums venting my anger and frustrations. I should be still playing GTA V now, not being on here commenting, but there is nothing for me to go back to as a single player gamer. I would never have thought of Rockstar selling out like that - it really seems this online craze and the promise of the quick, big profits that come with it has corrupted them bad, so bad to the point that they sacrificed the essential components of SP for online MP. That's when you really know that Rockstar have totally sold out and it's really disappoints me, as I thought they were much better than that.

 

Rockstar have really gone down in my estimations right now.

Me too general.. I abandoned single player after I beat the story. What's there to do after that really.. jump and press circle infront of cars? Pains me to feel like I gotta go back to a game that was in development over a decade ago to have a game with features that should have been a given this gen. SA was truly ahead of its time..

Yep, definitely. SA really was truly ahead of it's time indeed - I always kinda felt that it was when I first played it. I just remember thinking this game was so huge, full of tons of great content, entertaining storyline and crazy amounts of action-packed stuff to do and see. It really is a shame that SA was a PS2-era game and not in HD, as that is the only reason why I don't play it anymore.

 

I'm going back to playing GTA IV, that's all I can do for now. I really appreciate IV even more so, now that I realize it excels in areas that V does not.

IV + Episodes certainly had a much more interesting and entertaining storyline AND better set of side missions. Not to mention more accessible interiors.

 

Can't wait to go back to playing as Niko and doing some Drug Wars with Luis.

Drug Wars aren't fun to me anymore. Did one yesterday. GTA IV mechanics just feel so sh*tty to me now.

But yeah, Drug Wars was way more fun than anything in GTA V. I remember one night me and the homie just got sauced up the whole night and we made it through 23 Drug Wars.

Now Think of This. Lets say you get caught slippin. Cops Frame Ur Ass on a some serious drug sh*t. You end up at boilingbroke. This is the Catch. The Crooked cops Put a "price" on ur head. You're alone in the pen. No Homeboys no allies. But the fact is.. The cops don't want you dead, but instead give you are hard time thus by other prisoners. You want out, but you know for a fact them other prisoners not gonna like you. You're gonna have to fight, and survive. but remember this.. You cant join a gang inside. They all have the green lite to f*ck you up but not kill you. Do what you have to do. They're; gonna give you a hard time, kill if you have to.

(Okay, I know what the Green light means. Yes but there would be no point in getting killed. Our protagisnt has to be alive. So you have to survive that green lite until your released. Or more like a heist, escape..... you plan everything just like a heist to escape)

You have choices like a heist.

1. you escape, but have to hideout for the rest of you're life since you're a wanted man)

2. You survive any attack on yourself, and get out prison on release and you seek revenge on those crooked cops.
