They had New York looking stupid. The clothes was lame, niggas looked stupid, everybody dressed like they was broke as hell. There was no slang in IV. There was no niggas on the corner pitching. You could walk through somebody cypher and they would ignore you, even in GTA V if you do that you liable to get bodied.

R* got the place looking real in some areas, but there was nothing going on. In NY there's always something going on. Broker/Brooklyn should have been the best area in the game, that sh*t is flooded with gang activity.

 

And Alderney... Should have had way more sh*t. It's straight action out in New Jersey, niggas don't even know it. They had people in Liberty City looking like Boston niggas...

this... and there was more kings than black gangs.... that isnt NYC.. sure there are alot of kings but there are alot more black gangs..

Yeah man, I was confused with that. Ain't no Dominicans gangs in Liberty City, and we have a Dominican protag. In real life them niggas got they own damn neighborhoods. And they always strapped.

me and bro started that sh*t but we didn't know one of them had heat. The LK's told them not to body us or it will be problems and everything got squashed. I'm never going back to sh*t, lmao

But anyway getting back on topic: It's crazy how Lamar will help you fight random pedestrians, but when you try to bang on Ballas, he doesn't even move. I come through the hood with Trevor now, he always riding

Nah son, Families was mixed. Ballas and Families are both mixed. But the Grove Street set was more on the Blood gang side. But like always, R* made it a mixed thing. And it's reversed in GTA V. Families is mixed, but the main influence is Crip, and the Chamberlain set is pretty much based off ETG, while in SA Kilo Tray set of Ballas was based of ETG... I think...

You missed out bro. There were indeed Dominican gangs in The Ballad Of Gay Tony and they where found in almost every hood there was in LIberty City and Alderney. And they were seriously dangerous too, they did not play, they were always strapped with Glocks and Uzis. I saw them have many brutal gun battles with Jamaican gangs in Broker, trying to take over their hood. The Dominicans even had mad beef with Alderney chapter of M.O.B gang in ghetto as f**k Acter trying to move into their turf. Check this :

And Black gangs were practically almost everywhere in LC. The only place where you don't see them is Bohan and Dukes, but they should up there all the time in Vigilante missions, so I was cool with that.

 

M.O.B and NHH are found in Broker, Algonquin and Alderney.

There were actually drug dealers selling drugs in Liberty City's hoods and ghettos - you really had to look hard to spot them slanging drugs in the street to crackheads. They use their phones a lot too.

 

I agree with you about Broker though. However Broketr did have the most gangs in LC and it was easier to start shoot-outs between rival gangs there - that made up for my lack of action in the end. Those Northwood Dominican gang vs Jamaican Posse shootouts I used to get going in Beechwood were f**kng epic, that sh*t was pure fireworks !! Them guys used to blast at each other hard for control of those Broker street corners.

@General: Damn, I've never even seen them. That's actually the only gang I have never seen in the game. Everyone else is was way easier to encounter.

Edit: I remember them now. If you do Gang Wars in The Lost & Damned, you might have to go up against them. They suck... At least the Angels used heavy sh*t, but the Dominicans only have pistols and I saw one with an Uzi...

And I don't remember seeing any drug dealers in GTA IV. There were the supposed clockers, but they don't even pitch. They just stand there like it's time to picket (that means they not moving because the police watching). Where have you seen drug dealers? Because I'm ready to pop in GTA IV and go see that sh*t...
