It's really baffling that you find that to be something worth considering. The estate is the most dangerous in the country because no one put in work out there. For example, let's say you have 3 cities. One has a murder, the other 2 don't have any murders. That one city is the most dangerous in that series of cities... It's sort of like calculating percentages, assuming niggas be paying attention in school.

 

And yeah, L. A always got sh*t going down. Take the Watts Riots of 1992. It's worse than anything London has ever seen. You can't really rank sh*t in the US by their police statistics. Because I live all the way in CT and according to our police records, we was worse than L.A at one point.

we all know they aint gonna be a GTA in london... again baccing you.. the murder rate aint high enough n sh*t like that.. and it would 'glorify' crime there which would probably make it worse... l.a for example does have a high crime rate and it is in GTA.. nothin changes... niggas still get capped... dm if a game was showing the crime or not..

Nah bro, it aint like that, I'm from London, and it's definitely got it's own version of ghettos, projects and gangs. N*ggas do get shot every now and then on a regular basis. But it's nowhere near anything like what happens in most big U.S. cities, and the gangs dynamics there are a little different. However by normal European standards, London's gang and gun crime is considered to be quite serious. N*ggas out there in London got guns, believe that. If guns were easier to access in the UK, the situation in London would be a lot worse, and the crazy thing is, even with tight gun control laws in the UK, they still get guns and buss shots.

 

Having said that, I would not want GTA to be set in London, I just don't think it would really work well. I'd rather GTA stay in the USA, it's just belongs there only, end of.

And I think I mentioned this on the ghettos of LS thread, but we did have one dude from the UK out here and that nigga was a straight groupie. He wanted to rep every gang on Earth. I asked him about the hood out there and he said ain't no hoods and all the gangs are fake.

Yeah, I hear what ya'll saying. GTA had a London game a long time ago. I played it for Gameboy lmao.

And I think I mentioned this on the ghettos of LS thread, but we did have one dude from the UK out here and that nigga was a straight groupie. He wanted to rep every gang on Earth. I asked him about the hood out there and he said ain't no hoods and all the gangs are fake.

 

Nah he's talking bullsh*t. He probably just don't know what goes on and don't know anyone close to it, like I do for instance. In any case, most of the gangs stuff and gun crime in the UK takes place mostly in a few cities, mainly London, Manchester and Birmingham, plus a one or two others. Because that is where most of the black people in the UK live, so you will find more of that in those cities.

 

You did get some gangs in London who used to think they were Bloods and Crips some years back, like 5 or 6 years ago, but that was just a passing fad or trend, it's not so common anymore. Gangs ad guns were always around in London before all that - this stuff became much more common in London a lot more from the early 2000s and it rapidly picked up pace. In addition to the local Black British gangs, there other Black crime groups in London of foreign origin like the Jamaican Yardies and West African (mainly Nigerian) criminal organizations, Somali gangs, and they all have conflicts and alliances with each other back and forth, the black gang scene is very active indeed.

Well, the Jamaican gangs used to be a force in the 1990s, they used to shoot up the place and slang weed and rocks hard, but they are not so prominent on the London gang scene anymore. Many of the real bad ones were either killed in gang wars, put in prison, and deported. Others were pushed out of the scene by native Black British gangs and West African crime groups. The ones still here now just keep a low profile, but they still do sh*t when they have to. Eventually, the younger generation and descendants of British-based (and born) Jamaican/Caribbean and Nigerian/West African gangs have now melded together to form the main Black British gangs in London today.

 

The dominant Black gangs in London are mainly British-born and local, but they still maintain ties to Jamaican/Caribbean and Nigerian/West African crime groups.
