As of October am no longer honoring the Canon Map for South LS or acknowledging the new sets. f*ck Chamberlain Families and f*ck Forum Drive and f*ck "Strawberry". If it aint Grove Street, Temple Drive, or Seville Boulevard Families it aint sh*t. EVERY ped in the game is now required to be with one of the 3 original sets or you aint Families or one of the 4 original Balla sets. Everything else is DEAD. The canon map is lame as f*ck. Im role playing with my own sh*t now. f*ck that weak ass game map, I do what the f*ck I want from now on with GTA V.

 

 

You really need to let go of SA.

 

 

Don't blame me blame Rockstar, who brought back Vinewood and Richman but didn't even put time or focus into small basic details like giving Ballas "sets". They didn't even make a gang map for GTA 5. If it's so easy for me to make a map or incorporate Ganton, Idlewood, El Corona, Grove Street, Seville Boulevard, Temple Drive, Front Yard Ballas, Kilo Tray Ballas, Temple Drive Ballas, Rollin Heights Ballas on a map then what is the excuse for the creative team who get paid salary that they cant even create something on the level that a regular ass fan like me can? Im just a dude with a computer, they get paid thousands and cant even produce the sh*t I do.

 

I sit down and make a gang map in ONE f*cking day, they sit down 5 years to make a game and cant do that. Fire all of those dudes on the creative team, get me, OfficialGeneral, MrRight, Lil Weasel and a bunch of other dudes together and we'll make better hood details than the creative team did. Sh*t some of us fans are more creative than that whole creative team put together. Don't make no f*cking sense. Tell them to get on my level first. Strawberry, Davis, Strawberry, and Chamberlain Families sound like some names a bunch of 5 year old kids put together. And Im just supposed to be cool and smile at this lazy half ass GTA V hood canon.

San Andreas Ballas didn't really have sets either, none of the gangs did. They just had graffiti tags that were different depending on the area to make it seem like they did.. script wise Kilo Tray / Front Yard / Rollin Heights are no different than each other.. That goes for Grove / Seville / Temple as well.

 

I've made a mod where I gave all gangs sets that responded differently to each other, it's not hard.. not sure why R* didn't do it but whatever.. all we can hope for is some gang DLC that actually functions like it's supposed to.

Maybe they simply didn't want Ganton, Idlewood and all those other neighboorhoods in the game?

DoubleOGJohnson does have a point. It really does make no sense that they would add places like Vinewood & Richman, but not an updated Ganton or Idlewood.

" Now entering Pomona / Crenshaw" mainly stayed in beverly hills and santa monica.

It's a shame that they didn't bring gang wars back. That was the most addictive feature in GTA: SA. At the same time, gnag wars was only important for about 1/3 of the game. You don't really get to do gang wars for like a majority of the game.

 

I think that it may be a future DLC. With that said, it still annoys me that GTA O have more features than the single player mode. You can even attack the gangs in GTA online, and it's more worth it than the single player mode. My guess is that either R* is lazy or they realize they don't want to spoil their customers with all the stuff they can do, so they tease with by giving us little features at a time.

 

With GTA 4 it was understandable because they were getting used to a new engine and new system. Tho GTA 4 lacked a bunch of features. This game, you can see more features in GTA O (with clothing, tats, safehouses, useful masks, and etc) than the single player. It's a bit disappointing. But if it comes to PC, then all of that won't be a problem.

Yeah man. They could have at least made it an optional activity, like Gang Wars in The Lost & Damned, or Drug Wars in Ballad of Gay Tony. The best part is, you can do it forever. Even if it gets repetitive, it's entertaining. Especially the Gang Wars activity. I was really hoping for that sh*t...

 

OnTopic: I was with Lamar just a while ago. We were riding down Grove Street and saw Ballas. I cut off the headlights and drive down, start bangin on them. Lamar didn't even bust his gun...
