I have thought about doing that but it's just alot of work.

The gallery at the beginning of the op works perfect if you ask me

Am I blind or CVG's screen shots are missing in the first post? http://www.computerandvideogames.com/40436...reens-released/

Or they just IGN's unlabeled ones with CVG logo?

And I see all the shots in Game Informer Section except one are the Rockstar's ones with V logo. Are there only one shot with gameinformer logo except V logo or it is just negligence?

I think it would be reasonable, if you make a separate section for a group of shots to put the links to that shots and not the links to the other analogs.

Do you know who is the original releaser of this shot http://www.gamersheaventv.eu/images/galeri...eenshot_148.jpg - gamersheaventv or ign ? Similar file naming scheme here:

http://media1.gameinformer.com/imagefeed/s...eenshot_030.jpg

And I think it is reasonable to have a section for unlabeled screens.

The last unlabeled ones are in PlayStation blog.

I updated the OP with the new screens from E3 as well as the RDR and LAN promo screens.

Also was there ever a better version of this screen released??

@omawnakw: The CVG screens are under the rockstar official screens. The point of the OP is really to have all the screens in one place rather than catalogue where each screen came from. Seeing that alot of magazines and websites get the same screen it would be redundant to list each source.

Added the PSX magazine screen to the OP

Trevor Motorcycle

Has this been officially released yet??

No, I even do not know where is the one you're pointing is came from (it is about 150 pixels higher than the one in the magazine in the bottom part). Do you know why Jaffad is banned? http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...st&p=1062647618

Where did you get a version this bright and clear !? confused.gif

The original printed in the magazine has an artwork of Franklin covering up half of the bottom.

Can't believe, as I sad here it is encrypted and possibly consists of pdf pages that lacks original images (it looks really like a pdf with reduced quality images - no real text even, only an OCR layer for a search purpose - but can't be opened with a regular pdf viewer because of DRM). If somebody hacked that format It would be really interesting to know how. Why I think it is consists of images like a scanned version? - Fonts are not salable.

Was it a flash file?? Because flash files can be broken down whether its encrypted or not

No, that is a software for windows (and application for mobile devices) named e-Kiosk Reader, which downloads content automatically and stores it in a *.wyd file that could be opened with that software only. Splash screen says the software is built using Adobe PDF Library from Datalogics http://www.datalogics.com/products/pdfl/. Looks like an encrypted pdf file. But even if it is possible to decrypt it in some way I doubt it consists of anything except OCR layer and pages exported like a pictures (so no separate original source images in it)

The last unlabeled ones are in PlayStation blog.

Starting from "RSG_GTAV_Screenshot_001.tif" to "RSG_GTAV_Screenshot_236.tif" to date are the official and original names and extensions of the screenshots as Rockstar relases them into the press. All the names, and conversions, watermarks and addition add-ons or descriptions comes from other third party outlets (gaming magazines, and so on).

Wow, cool. But why 001-236, are there exist all 236 screen shots or it is not an index number but just some marking like 2nd bundle, screen shot 36?

They are all exist, just not every one of them has been relased to the public yet. Probably not all will, as lots of them are marked as exclusive materials for selected regions, magazines, outlets, and so on. This is just the way they did with previous campaigns as well with L.A. Noire or Red Dead Redemption, or Max Payne 3.

Does anyone else think this image is odd?

user posted image

I can't quite put my finger on why, maybe it's the tone & lighting. Ever since I first saw it I thought it didn't look right in comparison to every other shot of the game. When I first saw it as a small thumbnail I thought it was a fake composed from a GTA IV mod or something. I am not saying it's fake, but just something doesn't look right... I dunno.

Do you have any clean (unlabeled) screenshots which are named like "RSG_GTAV_Screenshot_XXX" (where XXX is a screenshot's number)?

If yes, how many of them do you have?

I have collected 79 clean screenshots so far.

63 of them have their original numbers:

9 screenshots from the SONY press-conference (the original numbers are unknown). And 7 other screenshots (including the last submarine-screenshot in LS harbor).

I wonder if all 134 officially released screenshots also exist as clean (unlabeled) with their original numbers.

The Photoshop edited screenshots which seem to be clean do not count, because they were usually labeled by the magazines before someone made them clean.

P.S.: Sorry for the long list. I wanted to hide it with a spoiler-tag, but it just makes the list to appear as a black field.

There are 640px-wide clean versions of all on Rockstar's site (for example change the URL http://www.rockstargames.com/V/screenshots/screenshot/1241/1280.jpg to http://www.rockstargames.com/V/screenshots/screenshot/1241/640.jpg) and these can provide source pixels for fairly decent logo removal in the full size 1280 shots.

As I said: all officially relased screenshots comes clean, without watermarks with their specific number attached to them - if you are lucky enough to have a working relationship with Rockstar. So in that case, it doesn't really matter how many I've got, and it's quite off-topic as well. It was just a mention from my side, that maybe it's easier to catalogue or mention them as their original names (if you are aware of them). And by the way, "E3" screenshots are numbered as well.

^Thank you, yes that's cool because numbers on the official site are not permanent. Good reference, but we do not know such a names of some screenshots released by R* on V's official site.

Also I can't find that names for screens released via Sony PlayStation blog. Are they top secret?

Nvm, found.

And another thing: this old shot is missing in the first post (or maybe I'm blind) and the only other place where I can't find it is gameinformer's site smile.gif

^ Is it for me or for TS? I know this, but it's not added to the 1st post. I think it worth to add.

I think I can't found it on gameinformer website because it was distributed along with paper version of the magazine. So it presents on fan sites with gameinformer logo but is absent on gameinformer site.
