It's not supposed to be a flight sim where you can only fly legitimate routes; it's GTA for godsake! I cannot really believe people still think Rockstar are "hiding" another city. cityspud Posted November 12, 2012 Share Posted November 12, 2012 Multiple TOWNS are confirmed, a second big city has never been mentioned and will not be in the game if it has not been mentioned, then you can't say that it will not be in the game... I'm sure we can probably say with finality based on the content of the second trailer when that releases on Wed. if the other two cities are not shown, then that is pretty much (IMO) the absolute statement that they will not appear... But when GI asked why they only built one major city this time around.... they answered. And by answering that question, they confirmed they indeed have only chose one city this time around... So a smaller city based on San Diego or decent sized city/town based on another big town/small city in SolCal could be possible. Although I tend to believe R* when they say its only Los Santos and the surrounding etc. I just hope the other towns they mention are bigger and more interesting than the ones in SA, which were just four blocks big, and clones of each other. (the airplane at the end of the trailer had to be coming from somewhere) and for those that say there will probably be a grass landing strip as well as a desert landing strip thats all great but rockstar is all about realism so i do not see a shamal landing on a dusty air strip. Sure there will be a military base but that will not be open to everyone. I am sure you will be gunned downed for even approaching it. 2) Trains: With the new screen shot we have seen just a glimpse of what appears to be a massive train line. SO you mean to tell me you all think that the train is going to leave los santos. wrap around the country side for some scenic views. just so it can return to los santos. I dont understand there has to be a destination for it. 3) Screenshots: Now here is were my suspicion about them hiding something plays out the most. If you notice almost ALLL of the screenshots of both the city and especially the country side show off the same locations. Just different angles. Its either they are hiding from us whats really out there or the world really is not that big. BUT the second thing is not an option because they have already confirmed how huge the world is. the most recent screenshot of the train bridge is the exact same location we got months ago. Why would rockstar keep recycling the same locations? SO in all i honestly refuse to believe all this game has is los santos and a small desert town. It just makes no sense. there has to be either another city or a couple other small towns. 1. Do you remember the planes @ gtaIV? There was one on the airport and the only thing it did was taxiing -.- and there was one in the sky just flying in circles. Do you really think they make a map 3/4 times as big as SA and only create one airport? Ofcourse not. And you're worrying about landing a shamal on a grass airstip? It's gta ffs, far more stranger things have happend. But I think there will be more hardend airstrips then just lsx and not only small grass airstrips. 2. Trains also driving in circles... Who the f*ck cares, you can probably board it and drive to the next town. Remember SA? There was also a freight train which stopped at every station, though it didn't carry any cargo.. 3. They said it will be bigger then SA, IV and RDR comebined... Don't worry. Also the military base will have a runway and I'm guessing there will be an airport for Los Santos like LAX. It's not smaller than we think, it will be huge, and they already confirmed there is many small towns in the countryside, stop making stupid excuses to bash V, f*cking pessimistic c*nts. Edit: I'm not talking about you personally, i just hate how people are looking for stupid reasons to hate on V, the map will be freaking huge, that's all that matter, and it will have more than one airport, now stop crying. If there's five, then surely the game will feature at least 3 - if the map's bigger than SA (which had four), then surely we will have more than one airport/-field - perhaps 2/3 in LS, and 1/2 in the country. They are either hiding something or the map is smaller than we think. exactly. they keep on recycling the same locations in the screenshots. you always see the same mountain ranges in the backgrounds. It is either smaller then we think or they are completely hiding half the map. My thought is that there will be 3 places for planes... All I ever hear about is people crashing the planes or bailing out of them to skydive. I do. One of my favorite things to do in San Andreas is to take that giant 747 in Las Venturras and land it at either the Los Santos or San Fierro airport. It's really difficult but fun. On topic: relax. Usually the first info covers only a small part of the map. I'm sure there are several medium sized cities. This is their biggest game yet folks. remember that.
