johnnyftlent Posted November 12, 2012 Share Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) a couple things do not make sense to me. that point to gta V having at least one more city. 1) Airplanes: i still do not see how we could only have one major airport to loop around the country side and then land right back to were we started. (the airplane at the end of the trailer had to be coming from somewhere) and for those that say there will probably be a grass landing strip as well as a desert landing strip thats all great but rockstar is all about realism so i do not see a shamal landing on a dusty air strip. Sure there will be a military base but that will not be open to everyone. I am sure you will be gunned downed for even approaching it. 2) Trains: With the new screen shot we have seen just a glimpse of what appears to be a massive train line. SO you mean to tell me you all think that the train is going to leave los santos. wrap around the country side for some scenic views. just so it can return to los santos. I dont understand there has to be a destination for it. 3) Screenshots: Now here is were my suspicion about them hiding something plays out the most. If you notice almost ALLL of the screenshots of both the city and especially the country side show off the same locations. Just different angles. Its either they are hiding from us whats really out there or the world really is not that big. BUT the second thing is not an option because they have already confirmed how huge the world is. the most recent screenshot of the train bridge is the exact same location we got months ago. Why would rockstar keep recycling the same locations? SO in all i honestly refuse to believe all this game has is los santos and a small desert town. It just makes no sense. there has to be either another city or a couple other small towns. BTW When reading game informer at the part were rockstar speaks about why they decided to only focus on one city. I think that was a indirect response to the fans on why they decided to not include all of the original san andreas. They thought it would be better to focus on los santos and not all of san andreas. It did not sound like they were excluding all other cities. They have to be hiding something. They are either hiding something or the map is smaller than we think. exactly. they keep on recycling the same locations in the screenshots. you always see the same mountain ranges in the backgrounds. Blackpool in England isn't a major city, that has an airport, it's barely a town. it doesn't need to be a major airport, as long as it has a runway, we can land. Sure I also believe there is more than one airport, I guess there is going to be two airports and one army airport, the army airport is only available in multiplayer. 2. Yes I think that Train is going to somewhere else (other city or towns) or maybe not, because the Los Angeles metropolitan is huge, there's also Long Beach, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Irvine, Glendale, Huntington Beach & Santa Clarita. And I think Los Angeles has many airports. 3. It's obvious thar R* don't let us see everything and I'm happy with that, I hope R* won't release any more screenshots, maybe one of the airport but not more. Are you guys worried? I'm not worried at all, I trust Rockstar Games, they always make their games epic, and now with this screen shots since GI Review I'm f*cking excited. I'm sure there will be stations in little towns and air strips in the military base they were talking about.. maybe the odd strip in the desert with some hangers. With probably indeed containing a highly secured military air strip. 2. The train in the picture is a freight train. Transporting goods from one plant to another. Possibly very wide spread. 3. But like another member of this forum mentioned. i also feel like when you leave los santos you are going to hit country side and then a dead end. then you turn back around fly over the country side and head back to los santos. I'm sure we can probably say with finality based on the content of the second trailer when that releases on Wed. if the other two cities are not shown, then that is pretty much (IMO) the absolute statement that they will not appear...
