Oke, some things I feel should be said:

This car doesn't really look like any of the cars you mentioned in my opinion. I think the overal shape looks like a Maserati GranTurismo, the headlights look like the headlights from the old 6 series (maybe not exactly, but they look very BMW'ish) , and the front grill with the silver bar is from the SLS.

And Azazel, I'd like it if you showed me how Sports Car 3 looks like an Accord because I don't see it. (obvious Mercedes CL)

I see now that the SSC comparison is pretty weak, so you are right about that. But the comparison you made with the Gumpert is even weaker. It looks absolutely nothing like a Gumpert. But lets forget about this discussion and agree at what it is listed as right now. I shouldn't have brought up the SSC I guess. I'll edit it out of my post. My other points still remain though. So lets focus on those.

The Z4 was the first thing that hit my mind after I saw the screenshot. Looking at the 6-series you posted, and which was probably also brought up back then, it does make a bit more sense. Especially the headlights, as you say, but there's definitely some BMW pedigree in that car.

 

At first I was going to argue that the Fisker Sunset was still a more suitable match, given its slightly more voluptuous shaping, especially that swoop down the side over the rear quarter panel, but looking at it again, I agree that the GranTurismo would have been a more likely inspiration.

 

 

And Azazel, I'd like it if you showed me how Sports Car 3 looks like an Accord because I don't see it. (obvious Mercedes CL)

What do you reckon this is based on, then? Surely we can't have two cars in the game, that look this different, but are based on the same car? That doesn't make sense to me, at least. And I still think that the 'Unnamed Sports Car 3' has a distinct JDM look to it. I guess there's no way of telling before we get a better look at it - hopefully in these upcoming trailers or previews.

I had the same thing yesterday when I made the point of the Cheetah being an SSC again, when I realized a few hours later that the similarities weren't substantial enough. I see you are being sincere about this topic. This is a great topic.

Nice new data sheets. I hope we get some new ones after the new trailers if we're gonna have enough info.

Technically Andromada is a fully functioning vehicle rather than a prop, just never intended to be used by a player - if you obtain it some way, you can see so as when you enter it CJ just passes through without any door animations.

What's that say on the fighter jet next to the 996? Looks like PC 30? Maybe that's the name of the jet? Sounds like a fighter jet name.

That would be how US military aircraft signal which year they were built in and which unit they are from. '996' represents the last few letters of the aircraft serial number, '30' would represent the Fiscal Year the plane was built (Yep..) and 'PC'/'FC' is normally where the letters 'AF' (for airforce) would go. Curiously it's missing the base identifier. Here is an F-15E tail for you as an example.

LN is the code for RAF Lakenheath, where the aircraft is based.

321 is the last few numbers of the aircraft serial code.

AF stand for airforce.

91 stand for 1991. The Fiscal Year in which the aircraft was built.

 

Something seems a little off with R*s interpretations of these markings. But it's only a game

No, I think you had it right with the Fisker. It has the same long hood and pushed back cockpit and the wheels are almost an exact match. Just lose the split grille and change the headlights a little and you got it.

But really, the Sunset fits a lot more better than GranTurismo and M6. Well, there is some reselmblance to the M6 on the front a little bit, but that's all.

Personally, I think we've seen enough of the 9F. It was in both trailers, and numerous screenshots. What I really want to get a better look at, is the Miura-like 'Unnamed Sports Car', sitting there teasing us in the back of a trailer.
