That, or it's a different car all together. The rims look smaller, and the tire walls larger, suggesting a classic rim, perhaps spoke, with those huge old-fashioned balloon tires.

 

My theory is that it'll be a Bullet - a classic version of the Bullet GT, somewhat based on the Ford GT40.

The cheetah is actually mostly a Ferrari Enzo, The only feature of a Ultimate Aero is the paint scheme.

 

 

 

 

They look the same to be honest and I really think it is the Ferrari enzo if anyone didn't know that.

In what regard? That the assumed Bullet GT from the screenshot has hydraulics mounted, and that it appears 'raised' before it has loaded properly? Fill me in on how it was with the Voodoo in VC?

If hydraulics are in the game, it will be shown clearer in a trailer or in a more detailed pic, I think that is just a glitch or a very beta car that will be fixed later.

If I recall correctly, Voodoos would rise up when moving, and settle back down when stopped. If AI-driven vehicles with hydraulics would behave the same way, this would account for the very high clearance that car has.

 

Or it could be what GunZinEss said, and it's just a glitch.

It will be a bit off-topic but imagine the screens Rockstar showed before release of gta 4 was like these real in-game screenshots , then the disappointment would have been less back then. They are doing the same thing with V again: screenshots, highly edited good looking images (while there are a few actual in-game screenshots that look bad) and the trailer is made of cutscenes which look better compared to the graphics you see at gameplay.

 

Anyway on topic: It's interesting to see that almost 30-40 vehicle from IV will be available at V with the same looks.

I think the New Huntley is Based on the Lincoln Navigator and Range Rover sport. 3rd gen Navigator for the grill especially, but notably the fenders and overall ground effects on the vehicle, plus it is a luxurious SUV... anyway, it is obviously based on the Range Rover Sport as stated, for the overall body shape. I just do not see any ford Flex in the Huntley, the Flex is a small SUV anyway and in No way a Luxury SUV. So here are the comparisons. What do you think?

First off, the Flex is not a small crossover, its pretty damn big. Secondly that Huntley is based off of the Range Rover, not the Range Rover Sport. There is a big difference between the two. Thirdly, the only thing in common between the navigator and the Huntley is that bar on the front, and guess what?

The new Ford Flex has the bar too.

 

Fourthly, the Huntley Sport in GTA IV has nothing in common with the Navigator.

I'm pretty sure you're right. I need to decide if that blue truck in the intersection in the first trailer, in that underpass scene, is identical, too. If not, I'll replace either Unnamed Truck or UT3 with it. It's easier for me than deleting one, and correcting all the index numbers.

Notice how the wind deflector is mounted right above cab but the one the black truck its mounted behind the cab above the sleeper. The roof is flat on the black truck, you can see the horns mounted on it, which is not possible with the blue truck.

Azazel can you look at this analysis i done?

 

I noticed something with all three, also remember that some vehicles have "Extras" now take a closer look at all three

 

I think they might be all the same truck with the blue one having a different "Extra"

 

I noticed the blue truck had a more smoother fender as the other two are more sharper however this could be

due to the sun light, also the gas tank and door "Window" as i'm going to call it matches up.

 

The upper part above the cab is the "Extra" i'm talking about, as you can see one is flat where as the other is a wind shield

God forbid I go against popular opinion on this, not one person has said why it would be based on the Ford Flex, which is my main argument. I am trying to find the other vehicle(s) that the huntley is based on, and it is clearly not the Ford Flex. The Lincoln Navigator bases is assuming that the Huntley is a Brand new Model year in GTAV, (more on that later in this post)

 

Think about model years, and if you took some time to think about what you are posting, you would remember that the first time we seen the Huntley was in the the first trailer that came out at the end of 2011... the 2012 Ford Flex had no bar across the Grille into the headlights, the Re-designed 2013 Ford Flex (what you have pictured) was not even conceptualized at that time, so there is no way Rockstar could have known that is what it would have looked like, therefore could not have got the bar across the Grille from the Flex. 3rd gen Navigators have had that grille since 07, So guess what?

 

One of the reasons I am calling it the Sport is the vent on the side. The vents that come on the Range Rover standard are the 3 vertical gray vents. Look at the Sports Vents.

Mud flaps are always an option at any dealership, you can even order mud flaps online for the RR Sport, I could have Mud flaps installed on my '13 Ford Focus for god sake. I hope you know mud flaps/splash guards are only for off-road vehicles, so thats an invalid argument.

You cannot however, put the Sport vents on a Standard Range Rover because of the 3 vertical vents that are in the same place.

 

I cant believe you are saying that the Ford Flex is not a Small Crossover... Flex belongs in the category with the likes of Jeep Patriot, Honda CRV, Subaru Outback SUV and Chevy Equinox. Besides I never said Small Crossover, I said its a small SUV, it is Long, but has the ground clearance of a Subaru Wagon. It is technically a Midsize SUV, and the only reason why is the occupancy space of 6-7 passengers but it is small as hell compared to a Range Rover and another thing is that this pic of the Huntley clearly shows it has seating for 4-5, so again not the Flex. Have a Look at people standing beside a Flex. That sh*t is small!

 

If we are going to get all technical about this though, the Model 2008 Range Rover you have pictured looks a lot less like the Huntley than the 2010 Range Rover (Sport) Which had a 'face lift' for the 3rd gen makes. Even Further beyond that though, the 3rd Gen Models are much more round than the Huntley pictured here, so it could very well be based on a 2nd gen Range Rover with a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban Grille and a Sport Vent, feeding the theory of various model years of the same vehicles being in GTAV.

It deals in stereotypes. If there's a car with smaller wheels, and huge mud flaps, it usually indicates that this is an off road vehicle, or one intended for such - stereotypically. Does that make sense?

I agree that a lot of the other design cues are from the Range Rover Sport, which also has a very similar rear. It's very possible they wanted a non-Sport version of the Huntley Sport, and simply made a non-Sport version of it, with smaller wheels, higher ground clearance/lack of bodykit, and the addition of mud flaps.

 

I added the Ford Flex because it had those painted black window pillars, and the low roof line, but looking over photos of the Range Rovers, they have more similar roof lines, and almost the same black pillars, so I'll probably scratch it from the main post.

LOL! Not asking you to just agree with me, I only wanted to make a valid point, that the Flex was not associated with the design of the the Huntley. And I am so glad that you see that now. I love scrolling through your database, and every time I looked at the Huntley, I would say to myself, there is no Ford Flex in it! LOL!

 

I am aware of the parody/stereotyping and how it works Since you have pointed out that how the front to back indents are perfectly lined with the door handles, it is clear why you chose this specific model. Regardless of all that mix and match mess, my main point was to get the Flex the hell out of the Huntley Category. It just didn't belong

 

The only thing is now finding out where in the hell they got the grille from...

 

 

Edit: I completely agree about the GTAV Huntley not being a Huntley sport, and agree with what you said whith taking some queues from the RR Sport Added onto the barebones, no options RR.

I don't know if this has been covered before, but in trailer #1 with the picture of the jeep I noticed that it was blocking some type of black sports car I think, and I'm really eager to know what it is. just zoom in with ctrl and + , right behind the jeep.
