What does this look like to you guys? At first glance, I see a lowrider of some sort - something along the lines of the Savanna from SA. Thoughts?

Sure, it is mainly a Mercedes, but there is a little influence from other cars as well.

 

In this shot, it reminds me a bit of the Ford Mondeo:

To me, the red car looks like a mix of a few modern sedans, including the aforementioned Accord coupe. I also see the new Taurus:

i don't wanna continue for long this debate, but for me the car is totally a combination of several Mercedes-Benz cars.

Sorry, but it looks nothing like a merc. The bumper is the only similarity. The headlights and grill are the biggest identifying factors for most modern cars, and those parts look much more like a new accord, taurus, or impala.

Roadtrain from San Andreas look like in the pictures so it's a Roadtrain

V is not a remake of San Andreas, and the trucks look nothing alike.

 

 

But could be the "Blade"

I know the shot is rather low quality, but it looks much more like a Savanna to me, with the straight body, and that very angular soft top.

 

 

This could also confirm the use of vehicle hydraulics.

Yeah... no. You can't really confirm anything from a screenshot, especially not one as blurry as this one.

I was walking through the Jaguar complex where I work today, past the car park where everything that rolls off the line is stored. Today, there were 100+ F-Types parked there. I spotted a blazing orange one and suddenly it hit me.

 

 

Yet ANOTHER source of inspiration for Unnamed Convertible 1. Possibly even more so than the Ferrari California.

 

EDIT: For the front and sides that is, the rear of the F-Type bears absolutely no resemblance to the GTA V rendition.

Ive been playing back through TLAD & spotted this when I went on the internet, which does kinda confirm that The Angels of Death are in LS

 

So would make sense that it is a AOD Gang Burrito.

This is the Gang Burrito from TLAD...

...which looks like a beat up version of the vans in the trailer.

On the subject of vans I just noticed these in the second trailer...

I pointed that out a couple weeks ago Here (clicky).

 

I thought it was an AOD Gang Burrito from the pic on the side but it is a 'Lost' symbol, I had forgot that they used that symbol also... and people were saying the one in the background was the Slamvan from the Lost and the Damned, but its not. It is clearly a Van, the door is open and it stands too high to be the Slamvan.

 

I think it should be put into the new vehicle column. Vehicles that you get into to and it has a different name are counted as a different vehicle in every other database cause it is a unique variation of a vehicle. For example: You get into the van pictured here, it would say "'Lost' Gang Burrito" and not just "Burrito".

I say, if it is obvious that when you get into a vehicle and it has a different name, it should counted as a another vehicle. Is that cool, Azazel?

So we have seen the Huntley in the trailer to be returning in V.

 

Are we guessing that the Huntley Sport won't be returning?

 

Or a version of the Range Rover Evoque wont be added?

 

 

I dont mind, but the Huntely is one of my favourite cars!

 

Also that 4x4 pulling out of the street in the train part, are people assuming its the new Jeep Cherokee?

I have a question.. how do we know that the car's you have in the Cheetah's datasheet are the same car. I personnally don't think they are but I just wanna hear how you guys came to that conclusion.

Yeah they are similar.. the front fenders/wheel arches seem to be different though. The car on the back of the truck also appears to be a different car.

I'm going to add it as a Gang Burrito, as I find it most likely that's what it'll be called. There might be other Gang Burritos, with different liveries, sure, but I reckon they would be called the same. I'm also convinced that it's the property of the Angles of Death, and not the Lost MC.

My theory is that we'll see both cars in the game. The regular Huntley representing a regular Range Rover, and the Huntley Sport representing the Range Rover Sport. The two might be a bit too similar to be included. Dunno, we'll just have to wait and see if the Sport pops up in a later screenshot/trailer.

 

EDIT: Oh, and JoeM, that's a really cool discovery! Adding that to the Gang Burrito's data sheet for sure.

This one's been bugging me for a while - every time I watch the trailer, really. Looks like it has a bed, no? Sort of like an El Camino? Like the Picador in SA?

I don't think it has a bed but some cadillac's have wings that could make it look like it has a bed

It's a possibility, but look at the rest of the car. Even this pixelated, it's easy - at least for me - to tell that it looks nothing like a big, curvaceous boat of a Cadillac.

 

Watching the trailer frame by frame, it doesn't look like it has fins sticking up, but you can see a shadow behind the vertical rear window, much like those little triangular bits between the cabin and the bed on an El Camino would cast.
