I think the T20 looks a bit perfect, like the Osiris. It doesn't look slapped together and there's no awkward proportions. But another super car? Haven't we had enough flashy mid-engined super/sports cars? What happened to brands like Ubermacht, Pfister, or Obey? Cars like roadsters, sports sedans, sports coupes, or actual regular cars? I understand that this was made for wealthy Ill-Gotten Gainers but there's more to expensive vehicles than lowriders, sports classics, and supers. The Windsor was something different but that's it really.

Yes, Pfister needs another Comet or similar Vehicle. Something I dream of is a 'DLC/Update', featuring additional Emergency Vehicles.

Same here, the 8C Competizione (and Spider) is bite the back of your hand beautiful. Mix it with a 4C and give it a targa top that you can remove and I'm in. I'd much rather have that over any super.

Well, anyway, the new supercar brings a new question: why the f*cking f*ck do they add a new brand for a car which already has its real life brand in game, and don't add one for the Stallion, which would just be a copy and paste from GTA IV? At least the vehicle looks good though, but still less than the Osiris. I would laugh a lot if it ends up being faster than it though, due to all people who spent their mone buying and upgrading the car. Anyway, I don't get why they made cars based on the LaFerrari and the P1 when they put out the Turismo R one year ago.

The bike and the Brawler, at least from this angle, are Zentorno-level ugly. The Brawler could be fun to drive though, despite looking like the inbred son of the Dukes, the Injection and the Osiris.

The Chino is the first old car in GTA I can call, with 100% certainty, ugly. It looks like an ugly mix of the Manana and the Virgo. The haunches look awful, and the details on the sides of the hood are the nail in the coffin. They are completely out of proportion. Even without them it would be just a boring car.

There were files for Progen's brand logo ever since the game came out. I'm guessing either R* was planning this DLC a long time ago or the brand was cut before release.

At this stage, it's anyone's guess. I'd like to think it's the former, however, I'm sliding towards the latter.

The only question that needs an answer is why revive it for a car that already has a parody of its real brand in the game. Maybe R* felt we already have two many Pegassi cars?

I don't think Pegassi is a McLaren parody. Yes the Vacca closely resembles an MP4-12C in some areas but for the most part Pegassi is Lamborghini and Pagani.

I still find it unnecessary to create a new brand though.

By the way, I seriously hope the C1 R* showed is modded and they removed the front bumpers (at least the main part), because that would at least help with the plain look the car has. I also hope it has those details on the hood like the real version. Shame the interior will be boring. I'll just wait and see how it looks with a red and cream white paint + chrome rims with white walls.

Admittedly the low rider is nice and I'm glad it's not another already existing car renamed as something else (yes I'm looking at you, Virgo ) but that boat is way too similar to the Speeder. Not only that but it just seems like a filler. I'll be honest, I loved boating in IV but in V I've never hopped out of my car at the marina and said "Yes, let's go boating!" It's just such a mundane activity. Instead of wasting time on another flashy boat that I won't sail in for longer than 10 minutes, they could've given us something unique like a simple but nice looking and fun to drive sports car. Everything has to be over-the-top when it comes to DLC though. They don't think there are in-game wealthy gamers who actually want more than supers and classics.

The reason boats suck in GTA V is that there is nowhere to go. GTA IV's map was made of islands and there were piers everywhere. Same for Vice City, which also had various canals on the east island. GTA III was also made of islands, though boats weren't that useful because their physics sucked and only spawned in one place. In San Andreas, there were lots of rivers and oceans dividing the map. In GTA V, they're just useless. It's just one big land mass with a huge lake in the middle and two rivers connected to it. You have to drive a long way to get a boat, and then sail for a long time without anything interesting to look at, and then, the only places you can really go are Paleto Bay (which is too far away) and the Alamo Sea, both of which you'd reach faster by car or aircraft.

Couldn't agree more with this. I actually did a round trip of the map back in 2013 via boat and explored both rivers and the lake along the way and it just wasn't that interesting at all. This is coming from someone who likes to sit back, relax, and take things slow. If there was a town based on Lake Arrowhead/Big Bear Lake across from Sandy Shores with a pier, it would've been more interesting to use a boat because then I'd have a purpose, some motivation to go somewhere.

 

But that's an entirely different topic. The point is, boats suck in this game. Unless they give me a yacht with a detailed interior (and it doesn't even have to be big), I won't bother.

This one goes to Rockstar. First off, why claim the cockpit is full of veneer and a bunch of old Jaaag styling when it's clearly just another rehashed Schafter cockpit from IV? Secondly, and this one really makes me think they're full of sh*t, the Jaguar XF of which this is mainly based on, is completely modern on the inside. That cyborg wood and rubbish tech went away when they launched the last generation XK, then the XF, and then the XJ. Many remarked on how much of a modern improvement the XF was over the X-Type. There is no old veneers and old British class in the XF, the f*ck were they on about lol?

Would be cool if they add a car with new, unique interior once.

Im really getting sick of the same muscle car and super car interiors. Especially that first one, they used it way too much, even in cars that shouldnt have it because it doesnt fit, like at all - Ruiner, Dominator and few other.

Theres even no variation, like some unique textures, its all the same copypasted thing. At least, recently added Windsor had this nice bright cream color texture.

Theres so many cool interiors from lastgen V/GTAIV they could remaster. like this one, from old GTA IV Virgo

They could have used Peyote interior on Coquette, imo would fit better and look more like corvette C1 interior

 

 

 

 

Progen end up with Comet interior which is fine for me, its the best looking car interior in game,

Yep, I know. Insurgent was just the first car with that electronic dash that came to my head, thats why I mentioned it.

They gave it a Sabre interior when they could've used a Peyote's. You think they care about styling the back? All of their effort went into the T20 it seems.

 

Admittedly the T20 is one fine car. I drove it for an hour and a half and have nothing bad to say about it which is surprising. Okay I would've liked carbon fiber as a secondary color but that's an isssue with LSC not the car.

The T20 is great. It even has a spoiler that pops up at a certain speed like I wish the Adder had, and it drives very differently from other supercars. It also looks much better than the real P1.

In the end, the Chino does actually look good.

The Coquette, though... Jesus, I don't even want to talk about it. It's the most disappoint vehicle in GTA so far.

 

Edit: and apparently, the new Coquette is a muscle car. Go figure.

Ok. I take half of the blame from R* and put it on Chevrolet. The other part remains because R* choose to use it instead of a clearly better option. I wish at least the secondary didn't change the whole rear. It'd look so much better.

I think the Coquette Backfin is a bit weird but I didn't mind cruising in it. Just a strange but sort of cool car if you use the right colors. Sea green on top of ice white with wire wheels and whitewalls seems to do the trick. It looks classy and expensive but not stock. It feels like some weird company redid it.

For some reason, the new Coquette's front looks like the front of a Austin Healey 3000. I don't know, but there is something about it.
