quick question guys is the crotti carbonizzare really the second fastest car in the game? I was looking at the IGN stats.

I thought it was the Entity XF

Looking at their page, it's a mess. They listed the Declasse Granger as a Dundreary Granger, grinds my gears so bad.

 

Don't believe them if they're that stupid to think the "Dundreary" Granger is a Lincoln and Cheval is the Chevy parody. (it's a holden parody, declasse is the chevy parody)

Holden does have a Volt, it's a rebadged Chevy. Just look at the logos of Cheval and Holden. It's pretty close.

It is a bit funny that they included two Chevys, Declasse, and Cheval. That seems to be like someone new in the game planning completely forgot Declasse is in it. or something, to me it sounds like a newbie mistake, because none of the veterans on the team would have done this.

I've been playing Online a lot recently and now I have my theories why is this game's vehicle roster the way it is.

As we know, GTA V was made with online in mind. All the vehicles had to be balanced in some way or another. Some might have been seen as redundant, like Admiral (being too similar to Washington), Some were tweaked in order to be on par with others - which is why we got Rancher XL (so it holds 4 people like other SUVs) and Bobcat XL (so it's also bigger and holds people in the bed).

This however begs the question - there are still some oddities, like Sultan being the only four-door "Sports" car and Dilettante being the same with Compacts.

The Exemplar is a "Coupe". I really doubt that Vulcar is Volkswagen. The Ingot is a boxy 90's station wagon, so Vulcar is probably Volvo, but the Ingot looks so much like the first generation Stagea.

Probably because some people classify the Aston Martin Rapide as a "four door coupe". Notice how the Oracle II is listed as a coupe? Because the 650i Gran Coupe is supposedly a "four door coupe".

I would've loved it even more if they'd have added some more cars under the Pfister brand like a comet cabrio, gt2/gt3 version even newer or older gen comets would be epic

The Rocoto should have been a Pfister. There should have been a Panamera as well. And one classic Porsche, like the 550, 356, 914, or the original 911.

Nah, it's not in the game for some reason. It's not even in the handling.dat.

 

Probably got taken out, or they redisigned the Laser a few times during development.

 

There may be a chance of them bringing it back as dlc for online.

 

I think it was taken out. You see, in the handling line there is a section for "Planes with vertical take-off". Now look at the fuselage of the plane, it has some kind of thrusters on each side, like the Harrier has in real life. Also, the plane has more or less the same layout as the Lazer, but looks completely different. And, we have seen the Lazer on a screenshot before Trailer 2, whereas this plane still was in trailer 2...

 

And I still can't believe R* took out the hunter, while advertising it on Lifeinvader 2 weeks before...

I think technically they both would would be Biscayne's since they both only had 4 tail lights.

Very minor detail that baffles me. Why does the Granger have such wide tires? They look like drag radials. That's all.

Well SUVs arent going to have thin tyres which probably wont even support its weight so they have to be wide

Width isn't a good indicator of load-bearing capacity. The real life Suburban upon which the Granger is based rides on something like a 265-275 series tire. The in-game ones look like they're at least 315 or better.

 

Like I said, not a big deal, just a curiosity I noticed.

The reason why the first post hasn't been updated, has been do to tables crapping out due to them being made in the old forum software. It would take a lot of work trying to get them proper again, and I think Az is waiting for the forums to be updated to allow old tables not to become a big f*cking mess.
