True, and the vehicle's spawn frequency has been tremendously improved. No more will we see the same vehicles for 10 minutes unlike GTA IV.

A bit disappointing that the Deluxo hasn't made a return in the classics section, it always struck me as an iconic SolCal car. I'm shocked that the Blista Compact has been modernized into a Sirocco lookalike, it just seems so bizarre that Rockstar would leave out the much loved CRX model. Surely they would know this would cause some backlash?

 

Well there's always the chance of DLC. Possibly a "GTA classics" pack that brings back some of the iconic cars from III, VC, SA & IV.

i guess we just have different playstyles. me... hell i wont even use the lower end cars. ive been known to run on foot, skipping vehicles that drive past until i spot something i like such as a sports or super car

They said that they're not going to do anything like the GTA IV Episodes again and that we can expect smaller DLC.

It's definitely a big shame all those cars were removed, but at least those left seem to sound a lot better according to the videos I've watched today. The Sentinel sounds powerful yet refined and ever-so-slightly raucous, the sort of subtlety IV never neared.

So since R* is breaking with names and traditions. Could we see the cars we now have in future GTA's as part of a new era? It does to me. New names for old vehicles.

 

Oh well. I will have some fun with the Stanier. Pretty awesome car.

@ Shockenheim: yeah I'm over the moon a civilian Crown Vic is in. I seriously thought it wouldn't happen. Definitely gonna be one of my favourite vehicles.

So I just watched a Dutch review from the guys from Gamekings. And the guy said something very funny. Although I have my doubts. He says that there were already tuned cars in the game. He talked about this one Comet that was amazingly fast and was hard to keep on the road.

 

Now I know Comets are pretty fast, stock version alone. But could it be that there are already tuned cars out there?

Yes but that's everything, 221 are the vehicles we can drive where as 298 included boat trailers and Trams etc.

Don't know. I pushed for the implementation of proper HTML tables again, but I'm not sure it's even happening. I have many plans for the topic, but I don't see how I would carry them out with the basic tables we have now.
