Same thing actually. Despite not being menitioned by the guide I've seen the Sentinel XS get it's top up and running and I assume it's the same for the Zion.

The Sentinel XS is the slightly faster, sportier, coupe variant of the Sentinel. The standard Sentinel only seems to be available with the roof down, and if the strategy guide is to be believed, does not have a functioning roof.

 

It has a functioning roof i saw it in the live stream....and for the XS it only comes in a Coupe form with out retractble roof

 

 

That makes no sense to me. So you're saying that some cars have retractable roofs, but the Sentinel XS, which we've assumed had a retractable hard top, having seen it both up and down, doesn't?

I mean the Sentinel... i havent seen the XS version with Retractable roof only with a hard top....But who knows

The Banshee is shown in the guide as open top, but we all know the coupe is in there, too. I'm hoping things like the Super Drop Diamond are possibly going to appear as a variant when the Drop Diamond spawns?

I think the Admiral got replaced by the Karin Asterope.

Yeah, he probably is. I saw one of those trailer analysis videos with a million views listing it as an Admiral. Got about half the vehicles wrong, but that's what people remember and believe. I got so upset with one of those videos, that I listed all the mistakes - it took me four YouTube comments to fit it all, due to the character limit, and all it got me was a lot of "f*ck off, make your own video".

Probably because Midnight Club was working on the cars and handling, the guys who normally work on the cars sourced it out to Midnight Club due to the problems with the car handling, and because in depth customization would be in.

Well, according to every other source the Sentinel (non-XS) does not have a working roof, and only spawns with the roof down. The Sentinel XS is a coupe and cannot have the roof down.

 

However, if you have a screenshot of the Sentinel's roof being used then I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong. (Seriously, I'm kinda bummed the sentinel doesn't have a working roof)

Ok so It looks like to me the rear is different shape the taillights are and the side skirts are differ The supposed "Admiral" has a rounder rear Bumper and sides are more lower to the ground but since both pics are from different Angles not to mention both cars are white and very similar it sort of leaves a bit of speculation Anyway I'm probably wrong if so dismiss this.

That's a pretty cool animation they've got for the Sentinel! Thanks for that video.

 

Shows how much they slip up on those strategy guides, it never said anything about the sentinel having a working roof.

Give it a rest already. You haven't played the game yet, so you have no basis on which to form an educated opinion. Wait until you have played the real thing, for the love of everything that's holy. I'm tired of people watching a 100x50px GIF, or a live stream filmed with a pre-WWII webcam and concluding that everything is amazing, or that it's the worst game they've ever seen #icancelledmypreorder. The XS is the faster, coupe version of the standard Sentinel. The car we've seen in the above video, and Michael driving is the non-XS version. In essence, the Sentinel XS is the M3 coupe to the Sentinel's 335i Hard-top convertible.

The Sentinel is the same car that Michael drives in the trailers.

The XS has a convertible roof, and slightly better stats. I can't judge if there's any structural or cosmetic differences.
