Nagasaki... what kind of name is it for a manufacturer? As obvious as Cheval.

These names have sunk into GTA 1 territory.

Looks like people were right, that car that looks like a passat is actually a chevy volt parody and that declasse Asea next to it i swaer is a parody of this

and who ever was saying that CL Merc parody is actually a honda accord coupe u were wrong Benefactor Scwartzer.

I'm starting to think that Cheval is based off of Holden.

Picador = Holden Ute

Fugitive = Holden Caprice

Surge = Holden Volt

Edit-there are 23-24 of vehicles rounded estimation 9x24 is 216 whoops still a nice amount though

Welp, they modernized the Blista. Not gonna lie, that's a disappointment.

 

But I can weather disappointment. Honestly, despite all the missing and misnamed vehicles, I'm content. There were a lot of actual pleasant surprises; overall it looks like a solid list. And I can still hold out hope for future DLC—after all, TLAD and TBoGT both brought back old favorites.

Azazel, that list is not 100% complete, although. It doesn't mention the Hunter*, Military Patriot or jump jets. And hopefully, the Hydra.

So, if anyone wants any hope to rely on, MP3's files mentioned the Dukes, Willard, APC, and other common sedans.

Chances are, they are going to bring back some cars in DLC form, like the Stallion. But don't get your hopes up for the Willard returning.

 

One thing I don't get is, why did they use Baller for two trucks that don't have much in common, except for being made by Land Rover irl. They couldn't have named one of them something else? Like I don't know, Huntley?

Something I'll never understand, a nice believable name the "Huntley" being for some ungodly stupid reason switched to the "Baller"..

What jackass at R* pitched this f*cking idea to the team, and managed to convince them that this was a good name? That that name is SO MUCH better than Huntley? And don't even get me started on the "Dubsta'...... I love the cars but some of these names, good god.

I don't really have a problem with Dubsta, since it's based on a SUV that hasn't been in GTA yet. But the Baller is based on a truck that has been in GTA. Is it cause the Huntley Sport was a Vapid, they needed to create a new name for it?

And more. There are still missing vehicles which are are sure to be in.

 

Example: Attack helicopter, ATV, 747 look-a-like (called "Jet", what a great name)

 

 

So there may still be even more we don't know.

So they really did take the VTOL jet out of the game (unless I'm missing something)... disappointing.

I don't know, all the cars look great and no doubt we'll get some cool sh*t later on for DLC. But I question some of the name choices.

Weeeelllll...to be technical, the Blista and the Blista Compact were different models, though they seem to be the result of an indecisive naming policy on makes vs. models, but I get what you mean. Still a bit sad over it, but I think I'll live

 

On an unrelated note, the Weeny Issi is confirmed to have a retractible convertible top. May or may not be news, but it sure wasn't in the guide.

So on that scanned guide, each car had a "extra mods" category underneath it. Are those the only things that we can customize for those cars? I was under the impression that we could customize way more than that.

if you watch the video i posted on the previous page about a guy customizing a Schyster, you can see theres a lot of options not listed on the guide. suspension and rims and tires are just a few, plus more. the guide is just what you can customize visually on the car itself

Every car has a ton of things you can customize, the "extra mods" are just the things that are unique choices to that car

I Don't think so. The weapons part is certainly, as their is a desert eagle and revolver, but their is no reference of those in the guide

I'd really hope that could mean that the Dukes is in. But from the streams I more than doubt it is.. Whatever cars the guide is missing, they must be very generic cars (sedans, coupes etc.) because they easily were over looked when they made the guide. So I doubt it's anything mindblowing.

Sucks that it seems they have left out Dukes, Stallion, PMP 600, Sabre (non gt version), Tampa, rahpsbody and faction. Probably more aswell, but these are the ones Im gonna miss from IV
