Is it just me, or did they slightly changed the look of the Front of the Obey Tailgater from the March Screens

I can't wait to see if they have actually put cars like the 'hidden' Sultan RS in the game.

I loved that RS blowoff sound they put in, aswell as the 'variation of gear ratios'. Such little tweaks were what made GTA IV special, aside from the annoying phonecalls of Roman or other douches and the way too serious story (which TLAD and TBoGT made up for though).

Yeah, hidden until you started driving it, then it was the most common car in the city.

Oh snap.. but that's always been GTA's 'problem', it did help me find a pearlblack purple one though, with racing stripes, which I then added to one of my Parking lots inmediately.

So judging by the descriptions, in single player CE will get the CarbonRS and the Hotknife, and in GTAO they will have exclusive access to the Khamelion, does that mean regular and SE can get the Khamelion in single player?

Maybe, it doesn't spawn in GTAOnline, and you can only buy it with CE DLC enabled?

doesnt seem to me to be R*s style to release things only for online. Fingers crossed the hotknife and carbon are available for DLC soon enough...sorry if its been answered but is the Rancher still in? surely it must be...

 

Edit: just read the SE and CE edition posts...im suprised that R* are making essentially 3 different versions...and dubious about fuel being in game now due to the electric cars. They would be great fun for what...3 hours max? then a full day on charge before you can go again!

if I'm not mistaken R* has already done (unfortunately and hoping doesn't happen again this time) in TBOGT to include "special" vehicles only for online play (like Police Bike, Police Cruiser, Police Stinger)

I wonder what is that grey car with beige roof on the intersection on Khamelion screen. It looks too rounded to be Manana, yet it looks rather old. Return of Idaho maybe? It would be lovely.

they could have shown it with no driver. the car parked and aim a gun at it (with the HUD disabled) so thats no reason to show the car in single player. i honestly believe the car WILL be in single player, but the only way to obtain it in multiplayer will be CE

He's not a 'little prick', he raised a valid point. You posted about the leaks despite multiple warnings, so why don't you shut up, stop insulting people, and admit you were wrong.

 

One little thing, wouldn't it make sense to put the manufacturer of the Oracle 2 as 'Ubermacht', since it's clearly based on a BMW and the Oracle is made by Ubermacht.

 

Also, the Stretch is likely manufactured by Albany, due to being based on a Washington, and the Stretch being based on a Washington may also confirm the standard version's appearance.

From what I understand, ALL vehicles are available for everyone (no matter what edition you have) in SP and MP, but the owners of the CE will get an exclusive garage at the beginning of the game with the Hotknife and Carbon RS and a garage with the Khameleon in MP

Same engine on the same hardware - figures. I think it's safe to expect a notch above TBoGT, though. Also in the styling of the graphics. Looks a lot cleaner than vanilla IV.

I'm with Twiggy on this one, the models and especially the characters feel like RDR to me, the effects and lighting bear more of a resemblance to the Midnight Club series.

I was talking from a quality of textures and models standpoint more than the overall setting and environment. But I get where you are coming from. I'd just be let down if I hit start and see a bunch of GTA IV quality NPC's walking around. Because TBoGT is still GTA IV to me, just a different story and less brown color palette.

Speaking of texture/model quality, I swear that at least most of the TBOGT exclusive character models, and in particular Luis Lopez, are of noticeably higher quality/fidelity compared to IV's character models. Certainly not quite as good as GTA V's, no, but there's a definite difference. I also feel that TBOGT had the best quality cutscene facial expressions/lip syncing/general animations for characters in the IV-era of games pre-GTA V.
