I had my finger on the trigger so to speak, but then I remembered the Lamborghini-styled taillights, too. Didn't want to list them both, so I put it off until I had a bit more time to think it through properly. I haven't forgotten.

Boff not really the only thing resembling the Carrera in this car is the engine roof scopes and that's it the rest is definitively a Koenigsegg Agera R

I've found out today that car known as Lampadati Felon GP, which is apparently two-seater supercar may be our Bugatti lookalike.

 

Proofs:

 

1. Car is called Lampadati Felon GP, so we have longer word sounding italian, shorter word and two letter symbol, exactly as in Bugatti Veyron GS.

 

2. Car has something that looks like double F on the back, which is obvious pun on EB symbol that can be found on the Bugattis and symbol of the name Felon. The symbol based on L, would be probably more appropriate, but it didn't probably look as good.

 

I am fully aware that my theory is rather weak, but it sounds plausible and you may think about it.

I also found it on the gta wikia, but do you have a sauce corroborate this?

Except for the part that Bugatti is not really Italian...

Nor is it german either but many people assume that it is, Same was Ascari isn't italian but sounds like it.

German? Italian... well okay, I can understand that because of the history of the founder or the sounding of the name... But German? Well, alright...

Bugatti is French, but the company is owned by Volkswagen, who you probably know, is German. The Veyron is for the most part, a German car, since it was design in Germany. Guess the name could be based on that.

I don't think so, we have seen the length of the Granger is that of a Suburban, while the "Sandking" is shorter. Also look at the hoods. The "Sandking" has a much flatter hood that is vented, and it doesn't have stacked headlights like the Granger does.

Nope, you are wrong. On the gameplay trailer, you can clearly see that car is marked as a police car on the HUD radar. Right after Trevor passes it, it can be seen as a police dot on mini map.

We see more of them in different colors though. It can't be a Granger. The front is entirely different as seen in the Rodeo Drive pic.

The SUV shown in the Portola Drive pic (parody of rodeo drive in gta v) is a Karin SUV. The one that looks like the FJ Cruiser.

Stop trying to say its a different SUV, it shows up on radar as A POLICE VEHICLE.

Nope, their right. You definitely got it wrong here. Just because it's a police car doesn't mean it's a police Granger. I can simply be a police variant of another model. The SUV in your screen above is either the same as the blue Hummer H3-influenced SUV behind the Gray and Yellow Banshee this picture...

or the FJ-Cruiser based SUV

You keep saying that, but you aren't giving any proof. I took another look at the vid, and there's no way to tell. All you can see is a blob of dots on the radar. And it doesn't have any police lights either.

 

So to you, and a few others on this thread, cut the Mr. Imsof*ckingsurei'mright BS. Especially when you're arguing about a grey blob in the background...

Sorry, I didn't know this topic belonged to you experts...  I thought this topic was to discuss the cars?  There are more similiarities to the Golf in that car than there are in the curvy 147, or UK spec Honda Type-R?  If it resembles those 2 cars, then it also has cues from the Golf.  Think I'll discuss whatever the f*ck I like too.

But your not saying anything that hasnt been said before, that car has had about 10 pages of discussion with no outcome.

 

It just ends up with people arguing their point, until we see it from another angle then it would be best to leave it for now.

 

Oh & grow up, having a hissy fit because people disagreed with you isnt big or clever.

If I can be honest, I was dissapointed with a lot of the new names this time around. The Rapid was already used by Aston Martin, the Tailgater sounds like little to no effort was put into it, and most of all the Dubsta, Dear God, the Dubsta. What does that even mean... I mean I guess I wouldn't mind it so much if it was the name of the Japanese SUV, but European carmakers are usually all about luxury and nobility and the term "Dubsta" is the literal opposite.

According to GTA Wiki Rapid GT was just a play on the Aston Martin Rapide's name. The Tailgater got its name because Audi owners are supposedly known for tailgating. Dubsta was a combination of D.U.B. and the gangsta mobile. The only name I can't really fathom is Felon, that sounds really childish. Its like a name you'd expect in an E rated racing game with unlicensed vehicles. Felon isn't a play on anything nor is it perverted. Rockstar did a better job naming their cars in IV. But hey at least the cars are doing a better job resembling their real life counterparts compared to IV.

Has there been any confirmation of canoes/kayaks being useable? also what about carrying said kayak/canoe or bicycle on your vehicle...i cant remember seeing any screens of bikes on cars...or canoes for that matter but i have my fingers crossed...

 

driving up a dirt road in the bodhi with a kayak strapped on ready to go white water...or parking up and exploring on my mountainbike before returning to the car and going home!

haha maybe, but that feature is hopefully only implemented after youve abandoned your car for at least a 24 hour period...although knowing gta games they may just disappear when you turn round!
