I like how they used all the thumbnails I made for GTAV.net.

No he doesn't. The car has some VW resemblances but not many. And if it were intended to be mostly based off the VW then it would have a Vulcar badge.

No he doesn't. The car has some VW resemblances but not many. And if it were intended to be mostly based off the VW then it would have a Vulcar badge.

Problem is, it's so generic looking, at least from the back, that it could be almost any hatchback. The fact remains that it's a Dinka, which is the GTA equivalent of Honda. Thereby not saying that it's not based on other models, too, but the Golf you're trying to compare it to, zabyps3, is much larger. You got the colours right, though.

Yeah that thing is pretty Generic, it could be just about any Hatchback on earth made in the last 13 years or so.

I so see the Colt look in it though but who knows.

 

Kind of off topic, but I wonder what preformance mods we'd put on Electirc Vehicles, I mean, we'd

have the same tire, suspention, body weight reduection etc. as everything else on them but for the motor

it wouldn't make much sense to put a Turbocharger and nos on it, maybe more Voltage and more powerful

motors, and some sort of Surge deal for nos?

Azazel, what do you think? i believe these 2 comparisons are the same car.

 

Left Image (yes i spelled convertible wrong):

 

-Headlight shape is the same. Mean, aggressive design facing downwards in to the grill.

-Grill is same shape, manufacture image is same spot (bottom car is slightly ovalish, but could just be draw distance blue)

-Bottom grill is same trapezoidish shape.

-Same shape air ducts. Height difference could simply be the angle of convertible)

-Mirrors are both roundish instead of oval

 

Right Image:

 

-Rear window appears to cut off and back towards body

-Chrome bar running between taillights

-The 'hump' above the rear wheel is flat, and matches. Unlike Sedan 4 that is more rounded.

Not much to go by on this image because Unnamed Sedan 3 has such a small/blurred/out of focus and cut off view.

 

Thoughts? Can we combine these 2?

There are more similiarities to the Golf in that car than there are in the curvy 147, or UK spec Honda Type-R? If it resembles those 2 cars, then it also has cues from the Golf. I belive that Unnamed Sedan 3's B pillar isn't as thick as unnamed Sedan 8's

I don't think there are 4-door convertibles. They must be two different cars, one coupe and one sedan.

There is not a single trait on it from the Golf. Go ahead and point one out if you're so sure instead of making claims with no proof or explanation. The only way they're similar is that they're both hatches and in the same colors.

 

Nemesis: Unnamed sedan 3 has a convex rear end, whereas sedan 8's rear is very flat.

Asterisk means that name isn't confirmed and it's just a proposal made by Azazel and/or forum members.

 

Returning vehicle means that this particular way of transportation is brought from GTA IV without changes or with only slight ones. Of course names as Enforcer or Windsor were used before, but visual form of the vehicle is completely new or the changes are so big that it can't be considered as a returning one.

Well if that's the case, may I make a suggestion? If Rockstar's truly falling through with such vehicles like the Dashound (a vehicle deleted from GTA: San Andreas), then it might be possible that the Mini Cooper is called a Tommy, a vehicle cut from GTA: LCS that's said to also be based off a classic Mini Cooper.

I don't think so, we have seen the length of the Granger is that of a Suburban, while the "Sandking" is shorter. Also look at the hoods. The "Sandking" has a much flatter hood that is vented, and it doesn't have stacked headlights like the Granger does.

Nope, you are wrong. On the gameplay trailer, you can clearly see that car is marked as a police car on the HUD radar. Right after Trevor passes it, it can be seen as a police dot on mini map.

The SUV shown in the Portola Drive pic (parody of rodeo drive in gta v) is a Karin SUV. The one that looks like the FJ Cruiser.
