And will the hotknife be in the normal version or is it only in the collectors edition.

And will the car carrier trailer be just a mission or will we be able to use it in free roam and load it with my modified cars i really hope i can do that.

I do have to say, if the Blista does come back, I hope it's scaled down correctly. That thing was massive in IV. Even its speed was scaled up, so it ended up being the fastest car in the game. I don't know how or why this happened, but it pissed me off so much. It's like twice as big as it's supposed to be.

If the whole Max Payne 3 thing adds up (and it does already, see Cuban 800), then we'll definitely get Dune in the game.

Speaking of the whole Max Payne 3 thing... The guys over on the Grand Theft Wikia have somehow mananged to give precision about the cars found in their files, most notably what type of vehicles was associated to what name, and if returning cars had a new model or kept the old one from gta IV.

It's worth noting that they did predict the new generation Cavalcade seen in the Gameplay Vid before it was ever seen, but I still don't take it for a fact.

 

Also, I forgot that it confirms the almighty Willard as part of the returning cars.

I think it's quite obvious that the comments for each vehicle are pure guesstimates and speculation, even though only some of them begin with the word 'probably'.

 

Most of the comments seem to be based purely on the accompanying handling stats, but that's hardly accurate to make any sort of educated guess. You also have to keep in mind that the list is old, so there's no saying which of the vehicles are still in, and so on.

 

It's also worth mentioning the ones they didn't get right, so here's a few examples:

• The Dinghy: new design. (Doesn't actually have a new design)
• The Faggio: identical to The Ballad of Gay Tony. (To which one? TBoGT had two variants of the Faggio - writer wasn't aware.)
• The Infernus: new design, probably bigger (despite what was shown in a promotional screenshot). (Guesswork based on the fact that most cars have probably had their weight altered, thus leading them to believe that the car model itself is different, which it isn't)
• The Maverick: identical to GTA IV. (This list preceding the first trailer, it's understandable if the stats are identical, but we all know that it's been replaced by a new model)
• The Trashmaster: new design, probably bigger. (It's exactly the same, as seen in the Gameplay Trailer)

Also, according to their notes, the Dune has a mounted weapon of some sorts. That sure would make the Dakar a lot more interesting to watch.

That badge isnt actually on the Bumper, that is a turbo for the engine, the bumper just has no mesh to cover the hole. But it is indeed a different bumper than we had seen on the sentinel before.

Speaking of cars they need to bring back, I hope the Fortune is included in V. It was a badass coupe based on the 90s Ford Thunderbird. It was in SA and IV, so maybe the the streak will continue.

 

What the hell...I don't think I've ever seen that car in GTA IV. Jesus, some of them are rare as hell.

 

I hope V has a "drive all the vehcivles in the game" achievement/trophy like JC2 did. Looking for all of them was fun as hell, and with V having more than 1.5x the amount of vehiclex...

I started my new job today, so I won't be around as much as before. But I'll still be around, don't worry.

 

I'm still not comfortable labeling the 'Unnamed Sedan 8' as a modern BMW, as I get a completely different vibe off of it, which is more 80's-90's styling, so I've kinda been putting off making a decision. I might put it down as that 7-series, but that would only be to shut you guys up.

As for that sedan, Rockstar might have just took 7-series as the basis and restyled the car a little, making it to look a bit 90-ish. Sorry again for bumping this BMW thing.

Then again, some Ballas were seen driving a bleedin' Jaguar/Maserati lookalike. So in my opinion a 7-series isn't too far off. Also keep in mind that trailers may not be representative of the real game.

And Rockstar love to mix different cars in one model.

No, that's definitely not an Akuma. The PCJ is the one with the colored wheels. Also, the Akuma has that carbon thing under it, the PCJ not. The PCJ is also thinner, and the exhausts are more distant from the wheels.

By "early access" I guess he's meaning that you will get it early on in the game as R* said that when you start the game you will automatically receive a garage with these two vehicles stored in it.

Either way we really have no confirmation either way, but objectively given the history of these kinds of things I'll have to say that the people who think it's simply an early access seems to be wishful thinking.
