I wish all of the standard cars from SA would return. I also want the Clover since the Sabre no longer looks much like a Cutlass on the side anymore.

Dont know if they all return. But most of the cars are from the IV-era.

What do you mean? I think it's pretty safe to assume that some cars that were in SA would be remodeled if they returned in V, I think everybody accepted that.

Interesting. I wonder why did R* use new cars instead of the old ones. Also, the Minivan looks a lot like the Blista (from III).

I don't know why they didn't reuse the names then but whatever... Also Majestic would fit a Civilian Crown Vic.

 

The Blista actually has a legitimate reason. The Blista Compact is based on a Japanese hatchback, while the Minivan is based on an American Minivan. Such things may have worked in the III era, but now that the IV era takes itself more seriously both can't be related anymore.

The Blista actually has a legitimate reason. The Blista Compact is based on a Japanese hatchback, while the Minivan is based on an American Minivan. Such things may have worked in the III era, but now that the IV era takes itself more seriously both can't be related anymore.

It's really weird how the Perennial in IV wasn't called Blista. It & the Compact are both Dinkas; it would have been perfect.

That said I also hope it returns, I actually kind of like the Honda Odessey. Isn't borning like most Minivans IMO. Not to mention they have some pretty bad ass ones over in Japan, so I'd love to have a stanced out Perenial, a JDM Shagin wagon of sorts.

I wish the Perennial wasn't even included in IV. Nothing against the actual design, but calling it a Perennial... doesn't make sense. That's like if they made a modern luxury sedan and called it Willard.

Can't wait to drive the Blista Compact in V. I was playing through IV again and had to do this mission for Vlad that involved a Blista Compact. Transporting it really made me really how much of a fun car it is.

If they redesign it with a full length headlight ALA Civic and a panoramic windscreen (and rename it Blista so the Perenial can go back to being an old clunker!) that'd be grand.

 

 

So how many cars so far are confirmed as having a coupe and convertible version? There's the 9F, the Dewbauchee, the GTR knockoff I believe, the Tornado (possibly), the XF/9-5/Quattroporte mix, the Sentinel, most likely the Banshee and Stallion (assuming it hasn't changed) like in IV, probably the Gauntlet or new Mustang knockoff (maybe both), the Peyote...

 

...there's definitely quite a few more.

 

I hope we can take the hard tops and T-tops off of cars like the Sabre & Ruiner.

I'll admit that they changed the roof rack but that's the only difference, everything, wheel arches, side profile, the style of the pillars, the placement of the liscence plate is the exact same.

 

The only other things that's changed is the front Grille which bears the Dundreary logo, much like TLAD's Regina.

Aaaaanyway, the vehicle you're talking about is Regina. Perennial as we used to know it ceases to exist as of 2001 (GTA III).

I would like return to see the name of Idaho, and this car since this based on a Buick Riviera, could be a Idaho GT, Turbo or Sport ... a version of Idaho.
