There's a big week ahead for us.

 

A lot of pages and a LOT of stretching.

No kidding. Look at how many screenshots we got today alone...can you imagine tomorrow? Today has been mind-blowing, that's for sure.

The trailer is going to cause chaos.

 

I wish we had a Mod/Forum leader who frequented here and could cut the IMG tags on all of the stretched pictures that are no longer necessary.

Just report the post, I did it on a picture that was stretching the first page and it was fixed in a couple minutes. But when 15 people quote the same motherf*cking stretched picture...

Anyone else think Unnamed Sports Car 4 looks more like a GTR? Definitely has the silhouette.

How are you guys seeing a Nissan GTR? There are literally no resemblences to the GTR other than MAYBE the headlights and a little bit of the side scoop...but everything else literally bears no resemblance to a GTR. I agree with it being a Ferrari/Aston Martin mixup.

This pretty much proves it's a Ferrari/Aston Martin type car, and not a GTR. Sometimes I wonder how much thought people put into naming cars...

They are not identical. The Zagato A-pillar is more rounded than the GTR and the Zagato roof has that dip in it.

You still can't deny the rear quater or the vent. I honestly think if anything it's based mainly on the Zagato with touches of anything from the GT-R to the Stratos to the 458.

I didn't. I think front end is more GTR + 458. Roof + a/b pillars GTR. Rear quarter panels + sides Zagato. Rear end unknown.

The old BF injections were based off a VW bug beach buggy, perhaps the new one based on the Baja Bug is still called the BF injection?

It looks more like a GTA Spano than a Gumpert Apollo..

Seeing a proper picture of the production model rather than a 3D render helped. I'll add it and remove the Apollo.

 

 

EDIT: I think it's safe to say that IGCD is better than the OP at figuring out what kind of cars these are. A lot of them don't even match up to their real-life counterpart...

Yeah, this isn't the IGCD. Doing my best here. If you would make a more comprehensive post, making it clear which ones you disagree with, I'd be happy to take it into consideration.

 

 

Yeah, I figured that out on page 11, but the OP hasn't updated it yet, or doesn't agree.

I agreed with ya, but wanted more confirmation. There's a lot of good comparison shots now, and I'm quite convinced, so I'll edit it when I get home.

 

 

I don't see anything similar.

 

It's a 2 door Fisker Karma with a Mercedes SLS inspired front grill.

I only ever mentioned the older Z4. I think the overall body shape is quite similar. I added the Karma, too, though. The lines in the bonnet, and the way the front fenders are higher is a good indication of how it might have been an inspiration to Rockstar when they were designing it.

It looks nothing like the Phantom from IV. The Phantom is based on the Peterbilt 379, or something similar. Old, gaunt truck. This new one is way different. More modern in its design, and much smaller. It could be called the Phantom in V, but I find it unlikely. There's a higher chance of it being a new Linerunner, or something completely different. I'm convinced IV's Phantom is in the game, too, with all the new trailers and such, I doubt they would replace the only truck capable of pulling a trailer that was in IV, rather than just add onto the collection of trucks with a new one.

 

 

The 'new' Lancia Stratos. But I agree that it looks like the Zagato too. But I don't think it looks like a Ferrari.

Hm. Looking at it again, it's easier to see them stretching the headlamps a bit, and the intakes in the bumper match quite nicely, including those little LED lamps.

 

If you feel that my reasoning is incorrect or too imprecise, speak up. Do not, however, get pissy if I don't put everything you say in the main post, or if I do it too slowly. I'll get to it, if I agree with what's been stated. I work full time, so I can't update the thread with every little whim you guys get. I'll be home in 5-6 hours.

Zagato with the a front end that is a Hybrid of a Ferrari 458 and a R35.

I know that in Trailer 1 there was a white GTAIV Landstalker (but with colourless tail lights), but I think they have replaced the model.

 

In the screenshot where Michael is riding a bike down the street, there in an SUV with its name written in a long badge along the bottom of the tailgate. If you count the letters it is the same number of characters as "LANDSTALKER"

 

 

The tailgate appears to be inspired by the 2003 Mercedes ML, with the tail light shape of the 2003 Ford Explorer. The proportions of the car remind me of the GTAIV Huntley Sport.

The general consensus is that the Unnamed Sports Car and the Unnamed Sports Car 2 are the same.

 

If you look at your comparison, it's rather easy to see that the rear quarter panels of the two cars are vastly different in their design, one has a targa roof, different rims, etc.. All they have in common is the color, more or less.

Yeah, it has the same side scoop, and you can see that little roadster window on the back of the blue sportscar too.

I'd say that it's just a Land Rover Sport from behind..
