The Lexus ES has the same hourglass grill (and is the most similar Lexus), and the Hyundai Azera has the same large headlights and shape. I also considered the older generation Kia Optima because it has headlights attached to the grill like this car seems to have too, but the Azera just looked more similar to me.

It most definitely isn't.

 

What annoys me is that the car in the poster, while its grille is very similar to the one on the 9F, doesn't look like an Audi at all.

Could be a beta image. Posters of cars in past GTA usually have some differences. Like the poster of the bullet in Otto's Autos in SA.

(Sadly I can't seem to find a screen of that poster in game...)

The hourglass grill on the 9F isn't on the real life R8 either. R* probably thought it was fun to combine Audi and Lexus elements since both brands sell siimilar types of cars.

 

But strangely enough the car on the poster looks most like a 2011 Hyundai Grandeur. I can't find anything Audi in it.

Yeah, this is bugging me too. Maybe it's just R*'s version of the Audi grill, because even the 9F doesn't really have a true Audi grill or front end in general. It has the main grill which is very similar(a bit shorter), but R* added that bottom part which makes it look like an hourglass(Lexus). I just think that car in the poster shares too much with the 9F's front end to not be from the same manufacture.

 

Now that I'm looking at it again, the headlights look like they have a similar style to the 9F, but it's hard too tell.

I think it's Rockstars version of the Audi grill, I mean it looks similar to the 9F's you have the Obey/Audi similarities.

 

There's allot more Lexus than Audi influence it seems to me in that poster car though at least in my eyes, but with the 9F sporting a similar front grill set up that they could be under the same make. Be it Obey the brand name, or if this car is just called Obey. Personally I think the brand is called Obey.

^It's possible, but it does seem like it's written like it's a brand name IMO. Something about that poster/ad just screams Audi to me. I've seen other car brands in similar images, but none as much as Audi, especially with that exact angle and those colors(or lack thereof).

If this is really the brand's name, it could be a really clever joke. Audi means "listen" in Latin (such name was chosen because Horch couldn't use his last name, so he translated it to Latin). So "Obey" is also a command in a language foreign to German.

Khamelion is probably the model name not the manufacturers name but you could be right it could indeed be a stylised K. I think that's the manufacturers name on the side.. can't make out the word but it starts with a H.

If thats the case, it feeds the Fisker argument. I would like to throw a new car into the mix, a Rimac (fully operational) concept car. The front bumper is nearly identical aside from the intakes. So i say the Fisker Karma and the Rimac concept.

I know it isn't. It's a game. Anyways, in the end we can't say what car it is because we can't see it enough to know more details of the car on the picture.

The 'Hotknife' looks to be based on a 1930's Ford model A Coupe with a Chop-top.

 

 

More specifically a 1930 FORD ChopTop Coupe HOT RAT ROD

Think the hotknife could be a body dropped/sectioned & roof chopped 34 Ford 3 Window.

Hard to tell, as most Hot Rods are made up of all sorts.
