What happened to the Glock and 1911 that you see in the artworks?

So far, it's assumed that they won't be in game, since the artworks aren't really reliable sources.

Kinda stupid that they put stuff in the artworks that won't be in the game. Oh well.

I see R* still using the ole bait and switch scam. Been watching a lot of leaked gameplay to find that the overall detail of the game is amazing. But yet again, R* drops the ball with the guns in a crime game.

you know whats even more annoying?

Its a Crime Game, yet you have not really new activities but sports

No Gang Wars/Fight Club/Drug Selling.but Tennis/Golf/Bike riding

Not saying that I dont like it, but its bad that we have more sports than crime activities

what happen to this pistol?

That's just the AP pistol.

Dude, do you remember how many GTA games have had weapons exclusively in the artwork? They pick what looks cool for the art, not what's in the game. Trying to predict weapons from the artwork has pretty much always been a nearly 100% failure.

Also, we've got confirmed space in Ammunation for DLC weapons. A whole wall on the right is set aside for them (12 spaces assuming one gun takes up two brackets), and it even has a prompt telling you to visit your console's online store for the downloads.

One other thing: the Combat Pistol (the silver one Michael was holding in the trio pic) reminds me of a Ruger P-series (like the P97) or Taurus PT 24/7.

You make a good point. As I recall, R* and everyone defending the lack of additional cities kept trying to sell us on this notion that there will be loads of activities to do within the map. If drug dealing among other things isn't in like many once claimed, then it would substantially upset the balance between recreation and criminal activity in the GTA series. V still looks good, but my concerns with replay value still linger. Especially if R* wants to keep taking 1/2 a decade to make a new title.

Cop wielding taser. I heard people say that cops don't use tasers but this pretty much confirms they do.

Possibly different weapons are available in different Ammu-natons.

Has someone that has the game checked every one for all the guns?

Hey, Don't want to be a douche or anything...

But I think the Beretta is in fact a Taurus PT92, hear me out...

The Beretta's "fire/safety" lever is located on the slide, where as in the pictures there is no lever on the slides. But the Taurus' lever is located on the butt. (It's hard to see if there is one in the pictures)

2nd thing is, The slide grip for cocking the weapon resembles more the one of a Taurus than the one from a Beretta.

Just speculating, thoughts?

I also brought this same exact thing up about a page ago. I completely agree.

Can you tell at what point of the video? I'm kinda trying to avoid video reviews.

I can assure you there is no M1911 in game. It could be that IGN received a version with all DLC weapons which will be available in future for microtransactions.

This was probably just a mistake on your part. The standard semi-auto pistol in the game resembles a cross between a Taurus PT92 and a modern 1911, and the Ammunation stats say that it's .45 caliber (which no Beretta 92 or Taurus PT92 is available in).

Where do i find hammer, crowbar, baseball bat?

The hammer is only available for the SE and the CE, and I believe you can find all of these weapons at Ammunation.

Until September 26th I will be busy because of exams at the university. (no joke)

If you want to update something in this database, write a pm to one of the forum leaders.

Cheers and enjoy GTA V

A lot of the "weapons" in here, especially melee weapons, were just kinda randomly thrown in based on whatever material they had, regardless of context. A weapon appearing in a cutscene or artwork does NOT mean that it appears as an in-game weapon. It's like thinking that you got a hacksaw as a weapon in GTA IV because you saw Niko being hit with it in a cutscene.

The guide lists baseball bats, crowbars and molotov cocktails as weapons....but not their locations. :/

Does anyone know where to find these? I REALLY want the molotov cocktails.

Don't know about Molotovs, but baseball bats have been exclusively seen in artwork and I don't know where crowbars came in.

Like I said earlier, this list took a lot of stuff from artwork and TV spots and just went "Confirmed!"
