GTA V weapons information

Guys,the M16 is part of the AR-15 family. We consider that an AR-15 SBR because it's a rifle based on the AR platform with a shorter barrel (under 16" like crispypistonx8 said a few posts back). We don't know if it's a military version or not and since there are hundreds and hundreds of AR variants,is more correct define that rifle an AR-15. Hope it's clear now.

just random but am i the only one hoping we can actually use a bipod for the sniper?

Ha, it was my topic that started all this weapons customization craze. I was even accused for trying to turn GTA into a COD type game. Don't believe me, click on the link on my signature.

Probably. The only GTA game to have sniper sway was IV, and that went away when you crouched. So A bi-pod would be pretty useless.

 

Also the handgun. There's no way it's a Glock. It's too big, and the slide doesn't match up with a Glock's slide. Notice how the gun has a hammer? Glock's don't have external hammers. It could be a MK23, but personally I think it looks a little to thick to be a MK23. Which leaves the only other option. A two tone desert eagle. The Barrel is Olive, while the slide, and rest of the gun has a matte black finish. Or that could be the lighting. But it's a Deagle, hands down.

 

Also we'll obviously be able to f*ck around with gas cans, as it was someone from R* playing the game for them. They decided to pick up the gas can and burn the truck. Completely of their own volition.

 

@Little William: I remember the fun times that were had in that topic. Fun, fun times indeed. I was an open supporter for gun customization too. Looks like we showed 'em.

Not even for functionality, just pure aesthetics, I think it would look pretty bad ass laying in prone with the bipod out in the mountains just sniping people, but I guess that's just me.

Yea i have that dilemma, it's either m1911 or m9.

So alot of new opinions in here. For the unknown pistol, who of you also thinks it can't be a Glock 20L or a HK MK23 like ioN said? If the majority agrees, I would delete them.

 

As for the pistol from the new screenshot, I would write it's either a Colt M1911 or a Baretta M9.

 

Are you all fine with that?

The handgun hold by Trevor in the new screen is a Beretta 92FS with maybe a match gundog.

I think you should change it to "Potential Melee Weapons" instead, because just like GTA IV, we don't know what we can and can't use. I really wanted to hit a guy in the skull with a pick axe, but sadly we can't do that. So some of those things we've seen so far are only potential melee weapons, unless we see them in a screen shot that is depicting them as weapons.

 

Also is that scene with Trevor the first screen shot we got of a dead body?

The topic says "possibly" in the introduction. I personally think that the hammer won't be in the game. For the others I see much better chances.
