Imo this is no MP5 on the jewlery artwork...

 

Looks more like an unmodded DD MK18

 

ironically you say "unmodded" yet the weapon appears to be mounted on a HK416 lower reciever if the pictograms for the firemode are anything to go by.

 

the artwork weapon in question is an MP5, no contest. with a KAC railed handguard in place of the usual handguard.

ok, so i searched around a bit and its an MP5.

 

 

 

BUT its an MP5 A4 and not A5 like its written in OP

That's not an MP5 A4, they made a mistake. MP5 A4 has a fixed buttstock.

It's an airsoft gun.

Just pointing ^ it out if it hasn't been already... that shotgun in tha pic above has a synthetic standard style stock.

 

 

This basic looking shotgun is possibly a un-customized version of the one Franklin is holding in that screen grab/artwork of him with the rag on his face.

I'm not really sure what your asking..but if your asking about that screen^ I would say without a doubt that^ person is Franklin.

by the way don't get too excited about art work guns such as the MP5 with KAC rail on it and the fictional sniper rifle Trevor's holding, history has taught us artworks are artworks (remember the cops holding SPAS-12 on GTA 4 artworks, fictional pistol on Lance's artwork, and so on?) just saying.

crispypistonx8, should I delete the assumption that the shotgun of Trevor is most likely a model by Mossberg & Son or leave it as it is?

^no its still a possible model. To verify what shotgun it is you need to see the trigger housing & back of the receiver.

 

A mossberg 500/590 has a thumb safety on the back/top of the receiver above the stock.

 

(Imo) its most likely a Remington 870.

Probably already been mentioned several times but this artwork shows Michael holding a HK 416C which is a different model to the regular 416 seen in the second trailer. I think this is worth a mention in the OP.

Actually yeah you're right that is an SMG clip... that particular configuration seems to be only available in airsoft though

KAC rail is basically a RIS handguard (im unsure if its extended beyond just the front handguard since I didnt have time to look) made by KAC company, same guys who produce KAC PDW smgs etc...

I liked the weapon sounds of Max Payne 3 most of the time. But the MP5 sounded ecactly like an soft air gun. I hope in V the MP5 sounds more like a real gun with a better "feeling of the power" when shooting it

In GTa4 they dont even sounded like guns so ....

IV had one of the worst gun sounds i know

I just played the Army of TWO demo and it had pretty badass customization options and gun siunds were really good. It even had details in the sounds. Like it sounds different when unshoot the last few rounds of magazine and makes a "click" noise when the mag is empty. Wouldnt say no if that would be in GTA5 too
