HAHA GI accidentally confirmed-ish that this could be the real deal.

Harut Vartanyan:

42-52 years old - Armenian car dealer, moneylender, would be Fagin and would be bully. Heavily connected to the underworld, but irritates people so much no one likes him.

I'd go as far as saying confirmed. You've got two official sources and they both match up, both have references to GTA characters (Mrs. Bell, so on). Also confirms the guy who leaked the original protagonist's names on GTAForums, and his report that the game was effectively finished back in 2011. Although of course, he was probably just talking about story content and the world of Los Santos itself, not the full game. Goes to show that things have changed since the RUSH casting call though, so we can't take it all at face value smile.gif

Yeah, they revealed it back on Thursday.

What do you guys think the "Welcome to Los Santos" thing is on IGN for the Thursday? Sounds kind of like a walkthrough of the city to me.

Probably something like GTA IV where they point out some landmarks. Hopefully more though, even though that would be cool also.

Can the mag be bought at a store? I haven't found it yet.

Maybe I'm just looking over it. I didn't know what to look for,

now I do.

I'm not sure if this goes here or not but I was reading the interview and they are discussing the character switch thing and Dan Houser say the following"An another level, it lets you play as both protagonist and Antagonist. Holy Crap

I'm glad they gave Game Informer a preview, it definitely - in the words of another member - refueled the hype train, even more than the second trailer in my eyes.

I got it in the mail yesterday. Kinda pointless now since we have way more info (and a new trailer) and it's basically old news. But it's still cool.

I've wanted to know this..say Michael is at his house - could you go switch to Franklin and see what he's up to? Like, play as Franklin but watch/follow Michael?

This is going to be so neat haha.
