The Nigerian Flag not available.

I tried editing my profile today to include my country's flag but it wasn't among the list of countries on the drop-down.

 

Why is this so?

But seriously, I read that it can't be fixed now as the flag software that was used can't be edited or changed now seeing as it was only "rented" or something along those lines.

I don't think that's accurate. I remember a while back the Argentinian and Latvian flags being changed to more suitable colours as they were much too bright.

Flag software? Even in MSPaint, it's just this is not the United Nations, we don't need every single tiny flag.
