hippox77
Hi. So I noticed that the frame rate in multiplayer is 20 on 'slow' and 25 on both 'normal' and 'fast'. Obviously the frame rate on 'fast' should be 30, not 25. How can I fix this? It must be a bug, yes? 30 frames is just smoother and thus better for me and friends playing multiplayer. I am using the version from RockStar for free download.
Sektor
On fast setting, GTA2 multiplayer framerate is limited by latency/ping/packet loss. What's your ping to your opponent? GTA2 also runs slow with some video card drivers and if one player is slow, everyone is slow. You should use Vike's modified version. Currently v11.43: http://code.google.com/p/gta2-game-hunter/downloads/list or http://gtamp.com/gta2 , it can run at 50 FPS on fast (it will only do that if the ping low). Yes, that modified version works great. 50 FPS stable. I limit it to 35 FPS, actually, otherwise too fast on LAN. However, I also want to enable blood splatter in the game. I found a 'Blood patch' for the 10.3 version, but it doesn't work for 11.43 modified version, unfortunately. Is there anyway I can enable blood splatter for multiplayer with this version? That would be really cool. Edit: I found out how to enable the debug mode that can to used to enable blood splatter in MP. http://gtamp.com/gta2/gta2-cheats/ Edited November 4, 2012 by hippox77
cant remember
I wonder why the blood splatters are off in GTA2, unless you use the cheat or debug mode.
