Los Santos Pedestrian
Minimum system requirements: CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1.7 GHz single-core or AMD Dual Core, 2.0 GHz Memory: 512 MB RAM Video card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700, 128 MB or ATi Raedon 9500, 128 MB Sound hardware: DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card Network: Broadband required for installation (though everyone reading this has that) Since there are no other discussion threads in Gaming Chat for it, it's pretty popular, and technically not a mod anymore, I felt like making a discussion thread for this. Then I'll feel it was inevitable when this gets locked. Garry's Mod is a sandbox/physics/multiplayer game originally released on December 24, 2004 as a mod for Half-Life 2 by Garry Newman. Its first iteration was a slight change to the engine to have extra weapons, but it later expanded to an independent physics game in 2006, when it was released on Steam. GMod has risen to be one of, if the, most popular Half-Life 2 modifications ever, being sold over 1 million times. GMod isn't just sandbox gameplay; mods for the mod including Trouble in Terrorist Town, or TTT, have been created, creating more variation. So, without further ado, discuss anything Garry's Mod related here. Post screenshots, videos, or just talk about the game itself. To contribute to the thread, here are two bland and disgusting screens I took today and yesterday, since I'm just a stupid wannabe artist. I couldn't make them any bigger, since Steam won't give me the better wallpaper images. Edited November 4, 2012 by Los Santos Pedestrian

Los Santos Pedestrian
What are the requirments? I want to know as I will be upgrading in a month. The requirements are the same as Half-Life 2, which is a pretty undemanding game (it's from 2004). These are the minimums: CPU: Intel Pentium 4 1.7 GHz single-core or AMD Dual Core, 2.0 GHz Memory: 512 MB RAM Video card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700, 128 MB or ATi Raedon 9500, 128 MB Sound hardware: DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card Network: Broadband required for installation (though everyone reading this has that) I'll edit the original post to include these. kudoboi
the hidden is for hl2 not gmod. the only reason gmod is the top played game every week now( check my sig ) is cuz of TTT. TTT is really really fun.. also the new implementation of steam workshop for gmod 13 makes it better.. you can now easily install mods PS: gmod was just 75% off about 16 hours ago http://www.steamgamesales.com/ohOV6/garrys-mod Edited November 4, 2012 by kudoboi
