On the box of the photo viewer it says "2006 - 2012".

Yup, that's definitely the same mountains just from opposite sides.

If you are right....well this game truly is HUGE. I, unlike many here, can already tell this game is going to be large in size. But if you are right about that being the same mountain from the opposite view, well, this map is going to be amazing! I hope you are right!

Baffles me why some people this is fake. Clearly it's real. They've officially announced a sort of release date to the public, a bit of artwork and telling us that "lots of info" to come in November. They've probably now started shipping the marketing products to stores to build the hype. Trying to argue this is fake is trying to argue that the curiosity rover isn't on Mars, people will just shun you.

I definitely hope so! Or maybe it's just an easter egg and a throwback to Vice City. This does confirm though that Love Fist does exist within the IV/V Era.

Am I the only one who thinks the Vinewood hills are a little too close to Downtown?

Nah, I'm with you on that. Seems too similar to how close they were to each other in SA.

In the trailer, the hills look alot further from Downtown than they do in that screen.

That is really the one thing i hope won't be the case. I played the sh*t out of GTA SA, like many of us have here, and i would recognize alot of things. GTA III and IV had both the same city , yet felt soooooo very different. Hopefully that's the case here as well.

 

As for size i don't worry, Rockstar said it's their largest open world game to date. Well....that's saying something.

Yeah, I just didn't like the hills being so close to the skycrapers in San Andreas.

 

I want downtown bang smack in the middle of the city, just like it's LA counterpart.
