Why are the letters different?

Five sets or ten?

It's fair to say that the more popular shop got more but that doesn't account for the fact that the layout in different in one of the letters. Look at the space between the top of the writing and the logo. It's fake.

 

The photos on the other hand are probably real.

I don't agree with you. Rockstar is clearly portraying Los Santos as a holiday destination. And these little things fit very well.
