Figures they'd release the best pictures near the very end. : As well, we may have an answer as to a park ranger vehicle. The bottom left of this photo we see an SUV... probably the same SUV seen in the Trevor shots of him climbing up the Vinewood sign. If this is the case... the rangers would have SWAT guys? WHAT? Uhhh...... we will find out. Could also possibly be security or a State of San Andreas vehicle. All we can see is that it is white. We see it again in a scene with Trevor in the red Jeep truck. So what is that trucks purpose and which agency does it belong too? I assume it is the same truck seen in the pic above. So lets see, LSPD has Older Vapid's, Next Gen Vapid's, Declasse Granger's, and Buffalo Bravado's. These Buffalo's do NOT have the same markings as the Buffalo's with the shield design on the hood. That is a different agency possibly we still don't know about! Exciting! There is also a Next Gen Cruiser in the background of this picture. The care in the foreground is based off a Chrysler Crossfire from the mid 2000s. So it would probably be a new Schyster product in the game! Would look nice beside a PMP 600. Will they actually patrol Blaine County? Well we have seen the white Los Santos Sherrifs cars all over Blaine County. At least all the areas we have seen so far. It leaves 3 agencies we don't know about including Blaine County Sheriff. We have the green striped white SUV units and the badged Buffalo units that we know nothing about. As for the person asking if this matters, it does. It shows the commitment and depth Rockstar is going into making this game the best and most immersive experience for players who appreciate all the little details like us. I would just hope they say the correct county within their jurisdictions. Though there is still this one old photo we've never been able to decipher. It is a shot taken southeast of Paleto. I wouldn't be surprised if this screenshot captured a bug/glitch where the LSPD were either spawned, or scripted, into this bullshot, instead of the LSSD. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it though. If it is from a mission, they probably have the liveries fixed to the white LSSD style, instead of the black-and-white LSPD style. We've seen the picture of the country club security guards so we know that some security guards are in the game. What if R* just made one type of security to guard everything. I think it's possible but still probably more likley that it's going to be some law enforcement agency. It may turn out to be a park ranger, some sheriff's department, etc....but seems like we won't know for sure for another 8 days! That's my take anyway. I am sure we will see some form of security car though. The green and white SUV was involved in a police chase, and had armed members mixed with sheriff guys in numerous screens, so it is unlikely that is a private security car. This doesn't appear to be within Los Santos (trees) but this sheriff cruiser still says Los Santos County on the side... so our fears may be correct. No Blaine County Sheriff cruiser, even in Blaine County. Though it could still be Los Santos County based on the 4th image below showing similar trees. Another view of a Marines army helicopter. So once again, Rockstar put tons of effort into the law enforcement aspect of the game, something we should all thank them for. But as USAPatriot said since the first post of this thread, they JUST didn't follow through till the very end and got counties confused with localities. Los Santos County Sheriff will FOR SOME REASON, be the law enforcement agency in Blaine County. In my head, I will probably just pretend the sheriff cars are Blaine County when in Blaine County. There is a lot of land for Los Santos County and a lot of land for Blaine County. If what you guys are posting is true, I am saddened by there being no Blaine County Sheriff's Office. They took the time to differentiate the two, yet they didn't give them their own law enforcement? That seems kinda lame if you ask me. A simple re-texture over the Los Santos Sheriff cars would have been fine. Blaine County has at least 3 towns decent sized in it, and they need their own sheriff's office. GTALE Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Based on this map (Possible SPOILER ALERT ON LINK), there is a ton of roads and placed to explore, and what appears to be a national security enforcement officer to the east of Los Santos, up in the mountains. Odd place, but might be a great location to find tons of law enforcement vehicles. They've already made tons of different law enforcement agencies, so why didn't they at least ad a staple agency such as the Blaine County Sheriff's Office? That makes no sense.... they can add ones like FIB and IAA, but Los Santos Sheriff, LSPD.... I don't know. :-/ Just wish they didn't over look Blaine County's sheriff. I see one in Paleto and another in Sandy Shores. I am not seeing 8. I would have to assume that the Paleot and Sandy Shores stations are county sheriff substations. There is one in the Rockford Hills neighborhood, Vinewood (to the east, but not East Vinewood), border of Vespucci and Del Perro, Downtown, South Los Santos, and East Los Santos. This does not include security offices, or maybe a police presence at the airport, etc. We have no way of seeing differences between police and sheriff. Two police icons in Blaine County. One in Sandy Shores, which would be the south precinct for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office and one north in Paleto Bay. On a side note, I see two major hospitals in Los Santos. There is a hospital in Sandy Shores (probably a clinic) and one in Paleto (smaller hospital I am sure).
