If it's truly announced this tuesday or this month, I will cry.

IT WONT BE ANNOUNCED THIS YEAR.

God, why do people honestly hope they will do ANYTHING with the next gen version this year?! There's gonna be NOTHING. It's gonna be all new on GTA:O

 

Try and remember all the windows R* had to market GTA V when they were working on MP3. They kept marketing MP3 for months after it's release.

All facts point to a 2013 announcement. Also San Andreas was confirmed for IOS alongside the updates for GTA:O. Not to mention the DLC.

My opinion is:they won't announce it unless the weekly global sale(2 console combined) drop to under 100k

Seen every mission played ,seems a bit boring tho still interested in playing it. Starting to realy lose hype over it all now.

GTA V seems to be 1 thing for me - Extremely good or something we didn'y realy want in a GTA game ,lose of missions not as many ,Special ability's ,Aliens Wepon wheel like wtf ? .

 

@ the end of the day i just hope When i get it the controls to play the game are still the same like GTA IV . so i can still embrace my controller ... :):):)

I always expect the PC version out for sale around six months after the console version. I was trying to hold out for the PC release, but it was on sale so I picked it up for 360.

I'm enjoying it, but I look forward to seeing a PC/next-gen version with higher quality graphics. Since I already have it now, I'll probably wait even longer after the PC release for a sale or price drop. By then, some good mods should be out too.

Guess what guys, no announcement. As much as I want it, it won't come 'till next year. Considering what I've heard and read so far I'd say the announcement will come in the end of January or beginning of February. And the game itself some time in June. Stupid C* and their "stay tuned for more information" tactics. I hope PC will get pirated badly for never telling the PC users about release date!!

It's a 50/50 chance for a Tuesday announcement this week.

I already want to say my goodbye to this forum because R* will announce gta v pc version tomorrow, at least thats what my gut tells me. It was nice sharing the rumors, happiness, anger and drama with you guys. Farewell and who knows maybe we will meet again in the pc discussion forum of gta v. The GTA IV + San Andreas bundle Steam sale ends in about an hour and 50 minutes.

 

It's sad that I think tomorrow Is actually a plausible announcement date, isn't it? Like, I actually believe in that notion, deep down inside.

Merry christmas maybe? But they should have at least released a pre-order announcement before hand. That would have given a huge sale in Steam for this Christmas (even if it's pre-order :p).

Wait for January :)

Well, several things, actually.

 

1. The ongoing (about to end, as I stated above) GTA IV + San Andreas bundle sale. It came out of nowhere and was regarded as a "Marketing App" in the Steam database. It is a very odd time to bundle these two games together as there are already seperate GTA collections for both the non-HD universe games and HD universe games.

 

Technically speaking, what do you get when you combine the HD graphics and improvements of IV with San Andreas' setting? Grand Theft Auto V.

 

2. Tomorrow will mark 3 months since GTA V's console release. It is a tuesday, also.

 

3. If you'd like to look at history (Which is a bit pointless at this point), certain previous GTA titles were announced for PC around this time-frame (A bit tired to recall if this was GTA IV's announcement or something else)
