About next gen, an exclusive deal with R* for a release to lets say ps4 exclusively (after/with a pc release off course) can really boost the sales, of that console.

 

I don't think that I'll be able to upgrade my gpubecause im joining the army (not a big deal in my country, not going to do something dangerous but it's just a must in my country) so I wont have time to play or money to spend.

hell, I'll be lucky to be able to play v regularly on it's release

I'm basically trying to find a portfolio or some sort of career this guy has to see whether he has any ties with R*, or what his career is.

Well for me, I think Intel and AMD both do a damn great job of creating processors for the market. For me, I only prefer AMD as that is only what I can afford. It works and I'm quite content with it. Had no problems either. However, I'm open minded and if I was given the offer to try a brand new Intel processor, I wouldn't say no.

 

Now mobo wars... I have no stance at all. It just has to come with certain onboard features that I can't go without.

Been with AMD since 2007 (ish). Have never tried an Intel CPU or GPU. I'm a bit biased on complete accident, but AMD hasn't given me a reason to switch. I just trust the name, really. I'm not all that experienced with the brand wars and whatnot, but seeing as how old (Durability-wise) my current CPU is, the 8-core of 4.0 GHz is looking like a direct upgrade.

 

I realize new CPUs are just about to get rolled out early next year, the "Kaveri", is that right? But I'm looking to do what I can with the budget I have right now. And what I have right now is not much at all, lol.

 

Honestly, use what you trust. If you trust Intel with your history with them, go with them. If they give you a reason to switch, you switch. Same with AMD. Same with everything else. My (probably irrelevant) point of view, at least.

My first own PC had an AMD CPU, namely Sempron 3000. It is a very sh*tty CPU but what can you expect back in 2006?

And that doesn't mean AMD suck, no, I like AMD because of their prices. But sometimes I'm asking myself why games doesn't get better

with an 8core AMD CPU but those games runs better on 4core Intel CPU.

I can be wrong but that's only what I have heard, so I'm not judging AMD and Intel

Back in Januray 2009 I bought a new laptop with an Intel CPU, C2D and it served me very well and GTAIV ran nice on it.

It came with an Nvidia GPU, I could play most of the games at a stable framerates, Now the laptop

is stuck with dust and playing games on it makes it very hot. But that doesn't matter, I need a new PC anyway

to get in time and I want to play games I haven't been able to play them the past 3 years and in the upcoming years.

I wonder how well GTAV will be optimized, my future new PC will have an i7-4770, GTX780 Ti and 16GB RAM DDR3.

I prefer Nvidia because of its many more options in the Nvidia control panel and I'm used to it.

I really hate to have changes.

Intel gives more or less reason for the higher prices, and that is likely because the CPUs (from what I've observed from other opinions, don't count this as fact) appear to run a lot smoother. I wouldn't know for sure though.

That is true, 8 cores doesn't really matter if its not being utilized at the moment.

 

I wasn't really being serious when I said "lol amd" I just find it funny that amd finally starts making decent processors and suddenly they are the best yada yada yada.

 

But if it works for people then that's alright or if people are on a budget. My last amd processor was the old socket A cartridge Athlon. Then switched to intel after seeing how much more performance and stability they offered and the rest is history.

 

I am the type of person that researches before buying a product then buys the best rated one within my budget. But I just can't bring myself to buy another AMD. Then again Im the same way towards ATI cards after buying one and going thru all the problems I had to deal with even tho people rave about them.

I'm not quite sure what the joke is supposed to be here. Are they saying that Rockstar sits on finished games and doesn't release them? Are they saying that once the first trailer is released that the game needs to come out soon after? Are they making the gag that Max Payne 3 will come out first? Because that's not a very clever or funny gag so much as going "Oh hey this one popular series currently has priority over another", which doesn't say much about the status of GTA V. If Max Payne 4 was coming out before GTA V I could see this being funny, but really it just kinda makes no sense. If it was made recently it makes even less sense as GTA V has been released, no new Max Payne games have been announced, and GTA V was actually released rather soon after a trailer (the official trailer). If it was specifically about the PC version it's even less relevant as it doesn't specify the PC version nor has there been a trailer for the PC version for the game to be released soon after. All - in - all it's just another terrible video-game based comic or a comic terribly altered to be about GTA V.
