Nearing the conclusion of Black Flag. A beautiful game. The best AC in the series, and I was a fanboy of AC2 and Brotherhood up until now. That's saying a lot.

 

Everything about it, absolutely beautiful. Liberating to no end, as well. The open seas. Full of adventure and excitement. The characters, the settings and locations. Absolutely amazing and an all-time high for the series or maybe even the genre itself.

 

You're gonna have to work a lot harder now, Rockstar, my friend. I'll wait as long as you need me to. But I truly hope you make it beyond good.

I haven't played AC4, is it realy better than AC brotherhood?

I myself don't have anything against waiting for the announcement or release. The thing I'm worried about is the quality of the release. I hope R* puts some real effort to make the PC version worth of calling it Grand Theft Auto V for PC.

Playing AC IV and its great btw

 

The game's horribly optimised, i can't jump into the game because it runs badly at 30 FPS and makes my CPU an oven.

 

Ubi responded to this and said that "PC optimization isn't important because they can simply buy a better card". I feel like i could punch someone in the face right now.

 

 

The game uses 1 core of my CPU close to 100% all the time. The rest of the cores are around 50-70%. My GPU is being used close to 100% as well. You just need a good cooler and airflow. For your CPU, get a Cooler Master 212 EVO. Don't use the vsync in the game. It's adaptive like I said, and will cap it to 30. It's a gorgeous game, looks better than AC III. I just use SSAO, and TXAA 2X with everything maxed and it plays 30-40 fps with vsync off. Good enough for me! Better quality and FPS than the PS4 too!

 

runs vsynced at 60 for me

with an i5 and 660 it works capped most of the time.

oh just one thing, dont press space when choosing saves at AC IV; I accidently deleted my save...

Well yeah, don`t be foolish. It will take a very long time for them to announce PC version. Now that next gen is out, soon they will probably announce it for them and maybe after a month of next gen release they will announce PC. R* would be stupid to miss this oportunity of income or they would be very nice to release them together. But I highly doubt it. Anyways we will get a PC version sooner or later, we might get it around May 2014, maybe late 2014, maybe 2015. WE don`t know.

In RGSC, platform #11 was renamed from "Orbis" to "Playstation 4", and #12 was renamed from "Durango" to "Xbox One"

The game is pretty much dead and out of the spotlight now, isn't it? The famed PS4 And Xbox One launch title craze is upon the console folk.

 

I doubt a few updates or even adding heists will make a lot of people instantly jump back into Online.

 

Funny how GTA:O has been planned for about a decade and a few years now. Heck, they even experimented with APB, If I'm not mistaken by that vague memory. But in the end they chose to limit it to such hilariously outdated hardware that has no business still being relevant in terms of technological advancement and prosperity.

 

All in the name of the dollar.

 

But I'm just talking in muddled, uninformed circles now. I'll go back to my cave and emerge when I feel like venting my passive-aggressive, bipolar tendencies on someone.

Keep an eye on ESRB, they are known to leak games before their announcement. They showed 'GTA IV For PC' and a few days later Rockstar announced it for PC. It also showed San Andreas for PS3 and then Rockstar confirmed it for PS3.(PSN)

Yup, they said that they got a confirmation by Rockstargames that GTA 5 is going to be released on 22nd of Nov. for PC. Seems like they lied to us.

When i looked it up, i couldn't find it. There was only PS3 and X360 version.

So i think it's photoshopped. Thanks for the false hope.
