The game's horribly optimised, i can't jump into the game because it runs badly at 30 FPS and makes my CPU an oven.

 

Ubi responded to this and said that "PC optimization isn't important because they can simply buy a better card". I feel like i could punch someone in the face right now.

 

What are you talking about? This time they optimized it, unlike AC3.

It works very good maxed at me. AC III was just a buggy mess.

Its a GOTY for me.

Lot of things to do, just hate that you cant jump of your ship, stealthly kill everyone on someone elses ship. You have to do a real naval battle.(since you cant really get to others ship since they sail away ehrn your in water)

 

I havent changed outfit so dont know bout the hood but Its awesome.

Combat is challanging (unlike at II and ACB where you just keep clicking) (still not really hard but better than before).

 

Stealth is improved aswell but you cant crouch or lay down.

 

tl;dr: better than other ACs for sure and Ive played them all (except revelations)

I think they are waiting for the Xbox One to release. After the release we are going to get an announcement for sure. Hopefully till middle of december.

I think the same, they are waiting for the black Friday and the Christmas to sell as much as possible and after that they will probably make a pc announcement. Everything is a business model.

The game uses 1 core of my CPU close to 100% all the time. The rest of the cores are around 50-70%. My GPU is being used close to 100% as well. You just need a good cooler and airflow. For your CPU, get a Cooler Master 212 EVO. Don't use the vsync in the game. It's adaptive like I said, and will cap it to 30. It's a gorgeous game, looks better than AC III. I just use SSAO, and TXAA 2X with everything maxed and it plays 30-40 fps with vsync off. Good enough for me! Better quality and FPS than the PS4 too!

EDIT: Nah, didn't worked. It was like opening an *.EXE with a Hex Editor.

EDIT 2: I will try Universal Extractor.

EDIT 3:>.< Failed... All I know is, that XAP file is some kind of ZIP, but I tried to extract with WinRAR, but WinRAR said the file was corrupt...

EDIT 4: Ok, I think it's too hardcoded to extract the files...

i've come to the conclusion that PC people are bitter in general because there has been no official news on a release.

That is if you only take a look at PC gamers in this very thread, and even then, that's quite a bold statement. Both, console and PC fanboys are being stupid, and not every PC gamer equals a PC fanboy, just like not every console gamer is automatically a console fanboy, and so forth. Each platform has its own elitists, more or less. I am a PC gamer myself, and to be honest, I don't care at all about the waiting for GTAV. I have other games that I can enjoy, and I've plenty of things to do other than gaming, so I'm fine.

 

Look at it from this point of view; with every day that passes by, we're one day nearer to the announcement and the release. If you don't think about the game too much, or if you have other games or things to occupy yourself, the wait will be pretty easy. In fact, I can't believe it has been over two months already since the initial release of V.

 

I just wonder if we can expect the announcement this year or next year. I mean, Rockstar does have a history of announcing titles for PC one to five months after console release, which is quite a gap. That includes earlier GTAs like III and Vice City, too, though.

- finally fully upgraded my rig and there's still no any news about PC version of GTA V ... well, shame ... shame on them ...

 

- but, i must tell you that AC IV: Black Flag looks phucking awesome @ 2560x1440p ... well, i can say same for BF4 and CoD: Ghosts, but environment in AC IV: Black Flag is brilliant, i love it, also AC story and "long play single player" is always excellent in AC games

I haven't played AC4, is it realy better than AC brotherhood?I hated assassin's creed but a friend forced me to try black flag.

S1LVER_WOLF is especially bitter because every prediction he has made on when we will hear news/see a release has been wrong. his hatred towards consoles most likely comes from not being able to own one. i feel that "real gamers" will game on anything....i started on atari 2600....but i'm sure that it didn't have enough frame rate/tessellation/shadows for ole wolfy to even bat an eye at.

First of all I'm not Nostradamus, so I don't make predictions, I grab Intel here and there, make connections between them and I give my own conclusions, not very different from those so called game analysts do, the only difference is that I'm not inside the industry and I'm not paid for it.

 

My "prediction" as you said has been since the beggining and based on the information I provided is that there is a PC version, that is not a port but a version created from the ground using the latest tech exactly like Max Payne 3 and till Rockstar say that isn't true, I'm right since the beginning even before the console logs.

 

As for consoles unless you're brain damaged and you can't understand what I said, I don't know what are you talking about, maybe you don't understand English or know the meaning of some of the words. I could own a console If I wanted, but I don't want, I've owned plenty of consoles in my life and I decided I was done with them, I'd rather play on PC's. But if you so sure about my hate towards consoles show me a single thread where I hate consoles without giving a valid reason, just one.

 

As for the rest of your commentary I just have to tell you I started playing with 4 color games and with games in audio tapes on Spectrum, and some of those games were a lot more addictive then they are now, nowadays is basically a copy-past movie, where you watch more cut-scenes, scripted scenes and videos then you actually play.

 

But I assume you're not clever enough to understand what I've been saying and all you want to do is bash and act like the shining armor knight and talk sht. So I'm wondering in what category are you in... the console fan boys or the plain idiots.

 

Nevermind I'll stop now, go back to the intercourse with your console that I'll keep waiting for the PC version.

Yes you are not alone, for me game works as it should. All 4 cores are working, including threads. My GPU is at 99%. Getting 45-50fps, 1080p, MSAAx2, Shadows Very High, everything else maxed out.
