How many times do I have to say that it's just barely been two months since its release on consoles? We're not likely to get a PC announcement for a few months...

 

GTA IV PC version was announced 4 months after release. So maybe GTA V will be announced December/January and released in Spring 2014.

Only logical way I see it. Of course they'd be competing with other next gen games like Watch Dogs, Titanfall and so on.

I don't care anymore about V, if comes ou next year or 2015, whatever. I've just gave up about V 2 weeks ago.

Feel bad for R* treating PC as sh*t, but , there's a lot good games coming for PC soon.

 

Edit - Don't tell me there will come a free bug version or consoles are beta testing it. Im tired of speculation about R* "secret pc version" sh*t in every line they wrote "they could be meaning pc bla bla bla", no one knows sh*t.

R* doesn't care about PC, R* has nothing to say about this subject, R* has nothing to share about a possible version of PC. f*ck! R* cares too much about piracy with stupid DRM systems.

This time people are more impatient than IV for an early release on PC simply due to the console version of V lacks a lot compared to IV.

If I remember correctly, at that time the scene was like the opposite, console players were having a blast playing IV except some complaints noted but nothing major and in no time PC game hit the stores. The wait was manageable.

It's not going to be that far off like many people say it will. I don't think any of the previous GTA releases had this problem.

Actually, It was announced just over three months later.. Approximately 98 days after it released on consoles.

 

Edit: 98, not 92.

I'm just saying it hasn't even been two months. You're right on the 98 days thing from earlier, but we're not close to that yet. If we don't get an announcement by February or March, that's when I'd give up waiting for a PC version.

For November, I'm still doubting it, but December and January are the most likely windows for a PC announcement.

P.S. Since lead platfrom for Watch Dogs was PC, Ubisoft could release it ahead of c**ksoles and made money on those who aren't able to play GTA 5.

yeah its either they will have to adapt and change their system into something more like a PC or either get to the point where itll be considered as a obsolete product which is to my opinion its allready the case.

Market and consumers says otherwise. They'll never stop making consoles, too much money to be made on them for Sony and Microsoft. Also easier for devs to develop games for consoles than it is for PC. These are facts that can't be ignored

If there is one thing I can say to PC gamers, it's Don't Listen to The Score Soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto V. The mixing on it doesn't fully match the game (where it's dynamic) and a lot of tracks lose their feeling because of it, especially tracks like "We Were Set Up" which is brilliant when it's used in the mission and the ambient version used when flying above the City and Blaine County.

I actually listen to a lot of "We Were Set up" and the thing I naturally imagine is a plane or aircraft flying steadily above Los Santos as the sun rises. With some swooping shots of the city life

 

It is a very uplifting track. Very "triumphant" sounding, in a high-rising way.

Well I guess till the "new" consoles get released Rockstar doesn't have permission to open their mouth, I'll be surprised if we get any news about PC before those things are released.

On a side "funny" note:



I really hope at some point they release it for PS4 and PC, this is outrageous to ruin such a fine game with hardware found in Mayan ruins, 720p and fps as low as 18? :sui:

As for that Oculus Rift, its an accessory. It's not a "game changer" in any way. Don't get me wrong it is cool but it won't set the standard for PC gaming. It's just another cool gimmick accessory to utilize.

 

The next gen consoles are pretty much portable PCs like laptops. I just laugh when I hear people say that consoles are becoming obsolete and won't be around much longer. The gaming community and marketing research say exactly the opposite.

 

So much fail in those quotes above its funny.
