That means that the PC version should be announced ~17th of November, which I really doubt it, seeing as Rockstar are a bunch of console sucking idiots.

You would be a console sucker if you were getting money from Micro$oft and Sonny ,and don't forget the new XBOX 1 (such a catchy name) and the Sonny pp4.

iirc San andreas might have been but I dont think thats true for any of the others. the time varys with each game.

There are always people arguing that its not going to be released and it always is.

I'm having a really fun time with BF4, but still come everyday at least once to check if there's news... and there's never news, only stupid argues most of the time. I'm really getting tired of waiting, and developing a kind of tiredness of GTAV without having played it.

EDIT:

It seems "Special Edition" of AC4 is online, not yet confirmed it is confirmed. Crack maybe soon, game seems to work due the picture (China)

Not even one screenshot from the latest drivers except the useless one in the news that has nothing to do with the actual topic, they pretty much said nothing new except the old news that GTA V.exe was in the AMD drivers. Unless there's a new version which I might check now...

GTAV.exe isn't present in the recently released 13.11 beta 8 driver, but it wasn't present in the first iteration of the 13.11 betas either (beta 2, 3, etc.) It first appeared in 13.10 from mid September. It popped up again in 13.11 beta 6, but a few other game profiles went absent in the first beta of 13.11 as well, not just GTAV. Arkahm Origins for instance, was nowhere to be found until the next beta. So it seems that they are shuffling the profile listings around or it simply wasn't added at the time for whatever reason.

 

There has been two AMD driver releases this past week; 13.11 beta 8, and 13.11 WHQL. I've checked beta 8 and GTAV is not listed in the binaries, but I've yet to check the WHQL driver, I'll do so and report back. Even if it's not listed, it really isn't all that important, it just means that R* probably got word of the "leak" and asked them to remove it.

 

Also, Christian Post, SidTech, and the rest of those obscure online publications are a joke. All they do is put up sensationalist headlines and an article containing recycled news and rumors that are several weeks old . They do it for website hits, ignore them.

 

Edit: I mean 13.11 beta 9.2

I've checked the WHQL one and there's no sign of GTA V.exe as well, same as beta 9.2.

 

Ok, well yeah. It's not really indicative of anything anyways. We already know that they have probably started optimization work on it based on the first entry, so the fact that it's absent now only shows that they became aware that it was "leaked", or that C* themselves told them to remove it.

 

Lots of people flooded the Catalyst creator Twitter page right after the leak asking about it and were ignored. I'm sure they made sure to remove it because of that.

It is a rather weird thing to do. They know that people want the PC version. They have to know that evidence has surfaced that they are working on it. At the very least they cannot be unaware of the whole AMD thing. Why release something like this? For the console players who use PC? I guess I can see that, but it's still weird to me. Maybe some artists who weren't at work on anything asked if they could make it? No idea.

 

Not sure if anyone knew, but apparently they had a Rockstar sale on Newegg a few days ago. I thought someone would mention it but I don't see any mention. Could have just not gone back far enough. *shrug* Doubt it means anything for the GTA V PC edition, but a lot of people found it suspicious that they put GTA IV on sale on Steam recently.
