What about hacking rockstargames server?

Of course, it's so obvious and easy, I'm surprised no one done that before.

I have found an exploit !!!

You probably don't remember, or have never heard of this, but when Valve was developing Half Life 2, a German kid hacked into Valve's server and leaked HL2 onto the net.

Valve was worried they were going to go out of business because of the leak, and even had the FBI find the culprit, and tried to bring him here to the US to be persecuted.

It's a good read, very interesting.

That is not correct, he used an exploit in an email service, he never 'hacked' valve.

I wonder what happened to those who bought the Steam keys from online stores claiming GTAV PC will be released on Nov 12.

Giving out false release dates... Well done, f*cking moronic online retailers...

Weird that GTA IV Complete Edition is on Sale, the game isn't going to work well in a few months time and Rockstar have refused to enter it int the Steamworks Upgrade plan. When GFWL shuts down, the only way you can play GTA IV on PC is by using XLiveLess or other mods to disable GFWL otherwise it's going to bitch at you for not being able to connect.

Yeah. Unless they announce GTA V for PC then GTA IV will be completely dead. And assuming that Rockstar is a big money whore, then maybe they want to get last money from GTA IV.

People are gullible, they never said anything but "sources" and people apparently thought random etailers knew about these things, it's funny because they can just change the date and had it been the correct date they would have cashed in. Win win for them.

They're not anymore gullible than the people who immediately believed the Eurogamer claims who simply said "sources" as well . And I suppose the MTA developers who were told by their R* colleagues that the PC version would come in November 2013 was of absolutely no significance, right? Or the NVIDIA senior director who also said the same? Yeah, I guess those credible people just pulled that information from out of their asses. *shrugs* .........icon_rolleyes.gif

People seem to forget that Rockstar's publisher/distributor, Take-Two, is notorious for pushing back dates and causing delays for no apparent reason.

And in case you didn't know, most of those retailers are far from being "random". They are well known in their region/countries of origin. And yes, certain retailers do receive information about possible release dates and product information before the general public does, this is proven fact. And it has nothing to do with speculation or conspiracy, it's just how the business works.

Oh please, you still believe that PC release is going to happen this month, as said by MTA and Nvidia. Tss, no chance boy'o. All you did here in your post, was protecting these theories evidence that pretty much already been disbanded, especially the supposed Fall "release" of the game...............................

Someone should start asking what's going to happen to GTA IV on PC, after GFWL dies. Might shed some light on what they might have planned for the PC version of GTA V.

Where the hell did I say that in my post? That is bullsh*t, I did not say that. You need to search the contents of my posts, instead of spouting this bullsh*t. And these "theories" were backed by well substantiated findings and information, none of them were pulled from thin air.

Some people in here are f*cking ridiculous......my God.

Probably full integration with Steam. GFWL was garbage. For one, a lot of problems were caused with logging in with your Windows account, be it at Live, Hotmail, MSN, whatever they're associated with. Second, it was as if the Social Club login wasn't enough. I can understand Rockstar's login setup, but GFWL, I'm guessing it was before they realized that Steam was taking over very well.

R* has their lips puckered up tighter than an asshole when it comes to anything relating to the PC version, they'd probably just side step the question if they detect someone is trying to get info about the PC version of GTA V.

I feel as if playing the game won't help my condition anymore.

I'll have PTSD flashbacks while playing the actual PC version. Whenever I see something that reminds me of the forums I'll go into instant shock and scream in trauma because I was vaguely reminded of that one time we thought someone had a leaked PC build.

The most gameplay I'll get out of the game is visiting Michael's f*cking psychiatrist in hopes of healing my own mental wounds.

I also believe GTA 5 is coming out for PC this year. Dunno why, that's just who I am - an optimist. I bet we're gonna get a nice GTA V PC christmas present from Rockstar :)))

LOL.....

Honestly, all of this nonsense has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Every time I try to play the game on my PS3, I get annoyed by the fact that I'm having to play a a stripped down version of the game and it takes away from my enjoyment of the game.

I no longer believe that it's coming this year anymore, it's obvious the initial PC release date was pushed back, but I've been pointing out several times now why it was logical to believe it was coming out a lot sooner than anticipated. Apparently, though, some people in here are incapable of distinguishing between the two things.

Right now, I'm thinking of two possible variables:

  • One, unlikely but positive, Rockstar uses leaks and different media to lead us to a 2014 release after a 2013 possibility, but actually announces it early this month for early December, making up for a great Christmas sale(Specially due to surprise factor).
  • And two, most likely and negative from our Point of View, Rockstar actually was going to release the PC version this year, however was forced to delay the release due to Take-Two Interactive and their weird financial decisions.

How good would it be to have the first one.

I'm honestly expecting the second one tho'.

Why would they let us suffer?

They sold almost 30 f*cking milion copies, enough with the gold digging, show us the costumers that you care

First one would be great. Second one is highly likely.

@yonatan755, I'm sure Take-Two is calling the shots here, I'd blame them.
