R* really should listen to their fans. As son as I heard that line of words. Listen to our opinions, our posts, our comments, and our discussions. Our opinions matter to you, don't it.

 

R* should see this, and end up being inspired. Apart from the delaying the game, and all. Ubisoft does, at the moment, seem more heeding then R*.

Wait, who did even come up with this theory that they can't announce the PC version before repairing GTAOnline? What does it have to do with the release of PC version? Like, you think they care about console players? You guys have been saying they care more about the money than they care about customers, why are you guys implying that they're delaying the PC announcement because of GTAOnline? This is simply not logical. You think that console players are gonna rage at Rockstar because they've announced PC version before fixing GTAOnline? They're already raging at R* because they're delaying ""theirs"" 500k $ stimulus pack. I think it's pretty stupid to think they're gonna announce the PC version ONLY AFTER GTAO is gonna be fixed. It's only the announcement and I'm sure GTAOnline is gonna be fully fixed till the release of the PC version. Summarizing, the announcement can happen today, tomorrow, next week or in 2 weeks. It doesn't matter if the GTAO is fixed. GTA Online is pretty much standalone game(somewhat) from what I know and it doesn't have anything to do with the GTA V PC release of the game.

This would be perfectly "in-character" with their everlasting "Money first, customers second" attitude. But at least it would get us the damn announcement.

You probably already thought about this, but...

 

Watch Dogs was delayed to Spring 2014, which is the most likely release date (after the fall 2013 one) of GTA V PC release. Though most PC gamers would go for GTA V, someone would go for Watch Dogs. And the best way of avoiding that would be to release it this year (not in the very beginning of 2014 as we'd all be broke because of Christmas).

 

But then, there's next gen. Making GTA V current-gen consoles exclusive for a while would be a great way for M$ and Sony to sell tons of consoles this fall, and I bet it's exactly what they want. Then release it for next-gen and make twice as much money, and then finally the PC version. Most people here who don't have GTA V yet don't have it because they haven't got a console, not because the graphics of current-gen suck, so the next-gen wouldn't really hurt PC sales IMO. This obviously points to 2014...

Now, I am a die hard fan of the Grand Theft Auto series and in my honest opinion, you guys are the best developers out there. I've been playing GTA since I was six, Vice City being my first. I have enjoyed every single GTA to date and I continue to be amazed at how Rockstar pushes the boundaries further than any other developer.

 

Needless to say I am a bit disappointed at the lack of PC information for GTA V. I know I'd probably get an automated copy and paste reply for this but Rockstar please take the time to read my message and do something that will make millions of people around the globe happy.

 

Honestly the delay was expected. But the lack of PC information afterwards is a bit disappointing. Rockstar, don't tell us to 'Enjoy the LA Noire and Max Payne titles for now' we have played them and finished them and enjoyed them.

 

I know that you guys are very busy with GTA: Online at the moment but please an announcement will do and then you guys can go back to Online. Come on Rockstar, we've got the evidence, what are you waiting for?

 

The PC petition has reached 600 thousand signatures with no info, yet Ubisoft confirmed The Division was coming for PC when the petition was at only 128 K, Ubisoft even encouraged PC gamers to sign it, so it makes me sad to think of the way my favorite developer is treating PC gamers at the moment.

 

Piracy is an issue on PC yes but console piracy is slowly increasing, with GTA V for example. Saints Row 4 had 3000 seeds for the Xbox 360 alone, The Last of Us had a total of 1000 downloads for the PS3 version alone.

 

Please Rockstar, do this is as a favor and take the time to read and respond to my message. I'm a guy from India which shows how many more people must be waiting around the globe, please Rockstar, please.

Maturity is overrated, in a sense, in a way. There are people who are trying to be "mature" by acting like f*cking boring snobs, no bo ho ho, and then they act superior, "I'm mature ~ my opinions somewhat matter more" nope, it doesn't it really doesn't, stop trying to be someone, something or whatever, and do whatever the f*ck you want, though keep in my mind that action got consequences, and that you are ready to deal with them, but if you want to start hysterically sobbing in a store for your girlfriend to buy you a chocolate, do it, even if you are 35. Yeah, it's too bad for everyone else. But the majority of PC pre-orders are no doubt Steam pre-orders. So most of the people in this thread (PC gamers) are not affected. Myself included.

The waiting for something that not been officially announced. But because of other things I have to take care of it,

I forget the game. All that forgetting makes the interests vanish. Maybe I'll pick it up on Steam when it's 75% off.
