Umm. I think this game is rated 17+ so they probably won't reply you.

Yeah but not all the people who bought the game are 17+ aren't they? Plus we all started playing games since our childhood even The Benz (Director of GTA) said so 'We played these games at the age of 11 and now we are actually making them'. I find the whole age rating system silly, it all comes down to good parenting. You hear stories about kids shooting with guns but who allowed them near the guns in the first place? I've been playing GTA since I was six and I haven't been affected at all.

Age rating system is there just so some people can play games before you do. Would love to work at ESRB or whatever and play the game and rate it before you do or any reviewer.

I get it now... I finally get what Brian said, the Tract, everything, I GET IT!!!

Can someone give me the link to his conversation? I remember it was on pastebin..

FOUND IT:

http://pastebin.com/Nszbj69R

Read it once again guys and maybe you will understand it bit more.

Very interesting read.

What the hell did I just read?

The thing is. This is not for someone that is close minded, you really need to be open minded to understand it. Of course it will be a bunch of crap for someone that's close minded or at least they won't understand it. This is why I knew from the beginning of reading this thing that most of the people here won't understand a thing.

nope, just bullsh*t total bullsh*t about nothing... if I'm wrong here then explain it to me, wtf was that about.
9:06 PM - MISTER ANDO: It is the ultimate puzzle. It is manifest.9:07 PM - MISTER ANDO: They have brought TRUE freedom of choice and TRUE emotion into gaming.9:07 PM - MISTER ANDO: I'm getting on iwth it now, no worries9:07 PM - MISTER ANDO: wit*9:07 PM - MISTER ANDO: Remember the choices we made in GTA IV?9:07 PM - Cheesus Christ: Yup9:07 PM - MISTER ANDO: And if we killed someone, we didn't meet them later? And when we let them live, we met them again? And then they either hurt, helped, or thanked us and updated us on their lives?9:08 PM - Cheesus Christ: Yup9:09 PM - MISTER ANDO: In GTA V this still exists and it is the most major and important breakthrough in game development I have ever seen in my entire life because of how philosophocilally dressed up it is, because of how utterly earth shaking it is - the way they did this in gta v.... I will continue ->9:10 PM - MISTER ANDO: You know that I have seen a lot, it is evidenced in my word that I share, and for me to be this excited about something, it is a major, major thing. It is emotion engine big. It is Doom3D big. It is GTA III big.9:11 PM - Cheesus Christ: I get it.9:11 PM - MISTER ANDO: You are no longer prompted to kill or spare.9:11 PM - MISTER ANDO: You are no longer "not rewarded" for making the "morally right choices, in Rockstar's eyes"9:12 PM - MISTER ANDO: Those who make the wrong choices, are doomed to search forever, for clues like they did in SA when nothing was there for them, but those who read this, the Final Tract of Epsilon, will know all that Rockstar has laid before me to show to you today.9:13 PM - MISTER ANDO: Those who read this and accept this will not only know the secrets of how to play GTA V, they will know the future of game development in general. They will see that the yoga, the triathlons, the eye in the sky is the character switching and the UFOs, which Lester also uses to watch people - Do not worry, I am not spoiling you. This is jibberish to you. But it is huge news.9:14 PM - MISTER ANDO: Rockstar has left behind the game play old way of thinking that you need to hold people's hands, and tell them your very own story they must adhere to or else they are not rewarded.9:15 PM - Cheesus Christ: They make us be them9:15 PM - MISTER ANDO: Rockstar has crossed a barrier you can see spoken about on conferences and keynotes, they have brought the nexgen to current gen *literally* in a completely different way than anyone usually defines "nexgen" - it's not the graphics, it's the gameplay - it is never before done, unprecedented - and console gamers are currently chasing shadows and being annoying flies to UFOs.9:16 PM - Cheesus Christ: That's what makes GTA V worthy of being called like that in the first place9:16 PM - Cheesus Christ: it is a new generation of gta9:16 PM - Cheesus Christ: something like that?9:16 PM - MISTER ANDO: They do not realize they are playing a karma game - yet EVERY bit of video and interview material has hinted at it the entire time.9:17 PM - MISTER ANDO: While it is dressed up as a karma game to get rewarded in GTA V, this has MAJOR implications for GTA VI and other games of its contemporary (once people actually catch on and see what has happened in GTA V)9:17 PM - MISTER ANDO: The 50 gb space for the discs in the nexgen?9:18 PM - MISTER ANDO: they will be used for so many different gameplay paths and stories to experience in a single game it will blow our minds out of the back of our skulls.9:19 PM - MISTER ANDO: This is something they have hinted at and wanted to do since before San Andreas was released *at the very least* because epsilom is finally understood by me, and now it can be understood by you.9:20 PM - MISTER ANDO: it is dressed up like an alien language BY ROCKSTAR because what I am speaking right now seems like an alien language to the audience.9:21 PM - MISTER ANDO: When we talk about game development paradigms, we are talking about ways of thinking, as the word implies, and we are talking about how we can immerse the player and bring them into the world. Not just "in new ways" but in "real ways"9:22 PM - MISTER ANDO: Similarly, when Epsilon talks about the 8th and 9th paradigms, they are talking about console generations and using it to illustrate a mystery/a puzzle/a set of clues that this is their plan, back then, which is occurring now9:22 PM - Cheesus Christ: You make some pretty good reads C:, i even brought up the epsilon program webpage to listen to the music, it fits too much with what you're telling me9:22 PM - Cheesus Christ: a comment*9:22 PM - MISTER ANDO: yes9:22 PM - MISTER ANDO: very good. thank you, especially for listening.9:24 PM - MISTER ANDO: your participation helps me to explain it clearer9:24 PM - MISTER ANDO: Like on the forums9:25 PM - MISTER ANDO: Back to it: When we talk about preconditioned gameplay behaviors in the industry, we are talking about the things the player already expects to have to do.9:25 PM - MISTER ANDO: When a player says "same sh*t, different year", or "same game every time, eff gta or eff cod", they are displaying the negative effects of preconditioned behaviors in gameplay. it is a deep truth in all things, but WE are discussing gaming, and I need to keep this simple.9:25 PM - MISTER ANDO: heh, simple... right.9:26 PM - MISTER ANDO: Rockstar has solved that issue in GTA V entirely. It now has this invisible karma system (karma is a chameleon - a clue the console users have obsessed over, but will not accept this answer LOL)9:27 PM - MISTER ANDO: It's not perfect, with the amount of content they can use in blu-ray, it will be.9:27 PM - MISTER ANDO: So they have been very quiet about this, yet very very loud at the same time9:27 PM - MISTER ANDO: because it is supposed to be massive ,and it absolutely most truthfully is.9:28 PM - MISTER ANDO: Our instinct in GTA at this point is to drive to -> shoot -> outrun -> sleep.9:28 PM - MISTER ANDO: there are many many moments in GTA where you can make a choice9:28 PM - MISTER ANDO: you know that WHOOSH hit indicator when you kill some, but not all, people?9:28 PM - MISTER ANDO: it is karma.9:29 PM - MISTER ANDO: the screen effect. it's karma.9:29 PM - MISTER ANDO: Are you realzing how big this is?9:29 PM - MISTER ANDO: and that you are part of the word being seen?9:29 PM - Cheesus Christ: And why is there only karma on killing enemies but not pedestrians
that sh*t? wtf is so impressive with that? I've seen games did better than that... it's nothing new really unless you are new to gaming.

Imho, the point could be, that there is no MORALLY right way or wrong way to play the game. Take for example, Fallout series, when you do something evil you lose karma but the game lets you know it was morally wrong. The choices YOU make is going to influence how your game story developes. And how its gonna make you feel when you are done playing. Its to bring greater immersion into the game.

Now this karma isnt exactly something new but the way that R* has or wants to do it is different. Just my humble opinion.

Go play spec ops the line, it isn't different or new. Spec ops the line let you make some really horrible choices and it never told you "Bad! Don't do that!" Or that it was wrong, that game is a master peice story wise. (Gameplay is meh and not good but the story alone makes it worth it)

That's R* latest comment on the newswire, at the last GTAO update, and it's very interesting imho.

I'm referring to the "We're aiming to make the first deposit of $250,000 in all players accounts early next week once we've confirmed that any remaining game progress issues have been fixed for the community in this latest title update" part.

So they expect this new GTAO update to fix all the issues left. This means once they've made the first deposit early next week, they can finally focus on something else (PC, maybe?!). I think it's pretty obvious GTAV PC version no-announcment has been affected by GTAO problems, and now MAYBE we are at the end of all of this. Next week guys, next week! Maybe next Thursday (24th)?!

It's the weekends now. No sense in expecting anything. So I guess our best course would be to wait and relax (and tread lightly).

One thing I know for sure, the plans really have changed and there's no way they're gonna release the game in November anymore. That's just my guess tho. It's either December or Spring 2014 left for me.

The release date would be the least of our worries, right now. All we need is an announcement. The wait itself for the actual game (at least for me) is no obstacle. Once you know that solid date and you are aware that the game is slowly approaching release with every minute that passes, the inner mental burden of the wait becomes so much more easier to endure.

not all the issues, just "game progress" issues (they are referring to the character lost)

man, now I understand how people can get overhyped easily, they just can't read

They can read just fine.

It's just that they read into things a bit too much out of natural need to believe in something out of desperation or mental exhaustion about the isuse at hand. The issue being restless wait for something as simple as an announcement.

Yeah, I called it simple. Because it is.

I really hope too much hasn't changed with the files, so modders can edit things shortly after release. It's a shame there's so much more content in Online that should have been in Single Player. Hopefully modders can port it over.

And considering IV and V are on the same engine (unlike IV and the 3D Era games), I wonder how fast someone will port Liberty City. I really can't wait to see what kind of modding potential V has.

This is what potential it has. Without modding.

I couldn't take it anymore, I sent an email, a very polite email mind you to Rockstar and a lengthy one:

From: Rishi Vinu[/size]

Location: India

To: Rockstar Games

Hello,

A warm welcome. I'm a 13 year old from India, and my name is Rishi Vinu. I know I'm a bit too young for GTA, but we all started playing games when we were young, so I hope that's okay.

Now, I am a die hard fan of the Grand Theft Auto series and in my honest opinion, you guys are the best developers out there. I've been playing GTA since I was six, Vice City being my first. I have enjoyed every single GTA to date and I continue to be amazed at how Rockstar pushes the boundaries further than any other developer.

Needless to say I am a bit disappointed at the lack of PC information for GTA V. I know I'd probably get an automated copy and paste reply for this but Rockstar please take the time to read my message and do something that will make millions of people around the globe happy.

Honestly the delay was expected. But the lack of PC information afterwards is a bit disappointing. Rockstar, don't tell us to 'Enjoy the LA Noire and Max Payne titles for now' we have played them and finished them and enjoyed them.

I know that you guys are very busy with GTA: Online at the moment but please an announcement will do and then you guys can go back to Online. Come on Rockstar, we've got the evidence, what are you waiting for?

The PC petition has reached 600 thousand signatures with no info, yet Ubisoft confirmed The Division was coming for PC when the petition was at only 128 K, Ubisoft even encouraged PC gamers to sign it, so it makes me sad to think of the way my favorite developer is treating PC gamers at the moment.

Piracy is an issue on PC yes but console piracy is slowly increasing, with GTA V for example. Saints Row 4 had 3000 seeds for the Xbox 360 alone, The Last of Us had a total of 1000 downloads for the PS3 version alone.

Please Rockstar, do this is as a favor and take the time to read and respond to my message. I'm a guy from India which shows how many more people must be waiting around the globe, please Rockstar, please.

Yours sincerely,

Rishi Vinu.

13 years old? i always thought people were joking when they called others 12 year olds.

BTW, that's like you sending an e-mail to "big tobacco" and complaining about not having candied flavored cigarettes. :wtf:

Rishi doesnt sound 13.

I see that BS, all the time. And I'm 13.

Age means very little, in the end. Maturity, intelligence and ability to comprehend subjects on a reasonable mental level is everything.

I think anyone who's seriously into gaming would have a PC and a PS3. There are so many great PS3 exclusives that will NEVER come to PC and you PC people can't even play them. I'm not even going to mention which games because it's pretty obvious. They're the games you always hear about and you wish you could play, but you can't.

Trust me, I get what you're saying. Some of my friends who are 12 and 13 seem pretty immature. And in comparison to them, I fell like the smartest guy.

They kind of remind of this.

Trust me, I get what you're saying. Some of my friends who are 12 and 13 seem pretty immature. And in comparison to them, I fell like the smartest guy.

They kind of remind of this.

Man_playing_Attack_of_the_Japanese_Monst

Yeah, well i am 12 atm. I can't talk about myself too much as im too selfish but what always ruins the games for me is when i tell them i'm 12.

And then they start ignoring me as they think i am like the guy in that gif, Actually when i say im 16 they think i really am, but yeah, As the guy said, Age matters very little, maturity, intelligence and everything else he said matters the most.

Bingo.

I had a conversation with brian last night for a few hours and we talked about that convo with CheesusChrist.

If you don't go at it with an open mind and open the possibilities you won't ever understand it.

Rockstar is delaying those in-game, Online payments by another week, it seems.

Crazy, extremely implausible theory time;

They want to surprise the f*ck out of everyone and release the game on PC this week, because that's the unpredictable thing to do and Rockstar is all about being unpredictable. So they're delaying it by another week so that the PC guys could also get in on the free money action, as an apology for the wait.

What's really sad is that deep down inside, I'm hoping this is actually true.

Dunno if someone already posted this, but whatever.

Maybe next Thursday (24th)?!

they'll be focusing on the heist pack and the beach bum pack for gta online I hope :D
