Another possibly ridiculous shot in the dark here, but what if this means they are preparing press kits for a media event? These events are usually held behind closed doors and only a select group of journalist/media people are invited.

I really don't get all this Epsilon stuff. I also read that conversation. I simply don't get it! Can someone make a summary of what's this about, please?

Enough with all of this bullsh*t. Announce it already. We're all going gradually insane. There won't be a PC community left to play your game when you've driven them all loco, Rockstar.

Well, it's relevant to the thread and it also helps keep the good mood alive, imo. Plus, I don't think R* would bother with all of this if it wasn't being used for the purpose of something, like marketing for instance.

 

I also think it's interesting and funny. So, yeah.

Well I couldn't find anything within the Nvidia files, and I mean inside of their source, but like I said those drivers are from the end of September, so it's possible they'll release them soon. As for the AMD drivers they don't need ot have the profiles selectable, they need to have the code on how to work for a game. So if Rockstar is testing the game they can get the tweaks that will be available when the drivers are final. Well if not to know how close we are of the release this information is just another hint on the existence of such version and in order to be tested and added to drivers need to be almost ready if not ready already and being tested.

I'm surprised with so many PC players waiting for info, how there wasn't any with hacking capabilities snooping inside Rockstar servers.

Anyway if any information about PC gets released, only next week. This one is over.

More of my sleepyhead thoughts on the last tweet from Epsilon.

 

So, we've established what tithe means. Just to repeat it, I'll put the first sentence from Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tithe

A tithe (/ˈtaɪð/; from Old English: teogoþa "tenth") is a one-tenth part of something, paid as a contribution to a religious organization or compulsory tax to government.

 

So, they've specifically used that word to make a play with words (read it as "think") and to use its meaning in thinking about it.

If you've read that big wall of text from Brian's conversation, you saw there could be some big game changing stuff going on gameplay wise. Karma and all that.

 

Back to tithe, it's one tenth of something. According to Wiki, GTA games (across all platforms and all DLCs) have been released in 10 different years.

So, my conclusion is that this might be the last GTA game to be as we know it and change is coming in a year.

Something big that changes the whole outlook on the game. Maybe it turns MMO (I've read that somewhere), or something.

This might be probably is just my brain coming up with strange ideas, while in reality I should go take a nap.

It was PC vs Game Console.

 

Personal Computer - device on which you can do many things, including video entertainment.

Console - device purely designed for video entertainment.

 

Sure, they use same basic principles to run, but are clearly very different in usage.

 

Edit: Yeah, this is pointless. I'll leave this, but really... bah!

We can argue about the importance of both consoles and PC but you can not argue that PC is what made gaming as it is today.

Of course. Many of the big devs today started out on PC back in the 80s and 90s. Including Rockstar of course!
