we will enhance personal, anything that happens in the wrong consoles the rockstar apologized, so I think when announcing the PC version will have to have many extras:

launching 1 million in gta online for all

blimp for all

one free dlc

and an apology in formal

but respect for PC clients

out much cheaper than usually (since we are not playing something new)

I support that

Guys how about we speculate the system requirements. by now almost all of us know about gta 5 running on dx11. What do y'all expect? Be as realistic as possible.

System requirements, minimum and recommended:

NASA PC.

Some people seriously give Rockstar too much credit.

Guess we wait for an inevitable DLC along with a PC release announcement called 'GTA:V Game of the year edition' including everything released until that point.

Let us please put the eurogamer links to rest. Every major outlet has the same story adding speculation over speculation. Unless Rockstar confirms or denies this, it proves nothing. It is just the same article copied and pasted along with the author's own personal comments ...

Show me at least one big gaming site that posted an article about PC release date of GTA V and was referring to its personal sources.

This is the first and only.

Big gaming site such as Eurogamer will not claim something like that if they don't have real basis for that. Because if they lied they can loose much more than they'll win with those false claims.

Nobody needs it. They posted that article because they have solid basis for their claims. that was able to convince Eurogamer's management that it's worth it. You can see it even in tthis article. They talk about everything pretty firmly and confidently.

Sure, you make a good point, but Eurogamer is now quoted all over the place now, increasing their traffic in multiple folds. This could've even been a marketing strategy, you know, to edge out the competition...

Yes, but that's even bigger argument in defense of Eurogamer's claims. If such huge and respected resources as The Guardian quoted such article, then they really trust Eurogamer.

ATTENTION:

I have some discouraging news to share, guys. Discouraging, but not confirmation of anything just yet. So takes this as you will and with a grain of salt.

--------------------------------------------------

I just received a response from somebody, who I will refrain mentioning by name (I'll let you guys figure out who), who says that his while his sources were very much correct initially on the November date, it now appears that Cockstar has done the thing we were all fearing they'd do; they have possibly changed their game plan for the PC release.

Now again, this isn't 100% confirmed yet, and the he did seem to be influenced by the what the recent Eurogamer article said (like most of the masses lately lol), but confirmed that his sources are very trustworthy because they received this information directly from some C* devs.

So now, there's is a real possibility that C* has decided to delay the PC release, which was indeed planned for a Fall/November release originally. This means that all of the online retailer store leaks pointing to the November dates we saw, as well as the NVIDIA Fall release statement, and the rest of the evidence and information that was collected in these past weeks, were all correct. Again, a Fall release WAS the original planned release window.

Now we still don't know yet how things will turn out -- because knowing how C* is, they may very well change their minds yet again -- but considering the way C* has been refusing to give up any information currently, it definitely appears that a delay has occured. If all this pans out, it looks like we might be seeing it very early in 2014, not April, and definitely not May or June, but sometime around January or February, as strange as those months may sound for a release.

Don't ask me why C* thinks this is a good idea. Maybe they don't have control over this, I don't know. I'm just as mind boggled as some of you will be upon reading this. I have my own suspicions on what might have caused the change in plans. I personally think those assholes from Take-Two may be responsible for calling the shot, as they are notorious for delaying releases by months, if not years sometimes and for no apparent reason at all. Just look up how long Max Payne 3 was delayed because of them.

On the other hand, this company (Rockstar) is literally lying to every PC gamer in their face right now. They continue to insult the intelligence of their customers by issuing retarded statements like "we have no information to share about the "possibility" of a PC version", and we know this to be an outright lie because there is irrefutable evidence that not only demonstrates they've long since had plans for a PC version, but also that the PC version has been developed for a long time now as well. The sad part about it is that the vast majority of PC gamers will never even know about this. And they'll continue to think it was just traditional GTA PC wait time as usual.

Anyway, I must say this was extremely disappointing news for me to hear about. I've personally decided I'm going to finish the game on PS3, sell it, and then forget about it all together. The early months of 2014 are still a good 4 or 5 months away, and considering the initial release plan was for November, such a wait is not only unacceptable, but also uncalled for and unwarranted. The PC version of this game IS not a port from the consoles, and the several months delay time period will not be used for any such "porting", which was the justifiable reason behind the long wait times for previous PC GTA's. So what excuse will they come up with to explain this? I don't know, and really I don't care. At this point, they've lost all respect from me.

I'm no longer willing to support a company who partakes in shady business practices that f*ck over an entire community of gamers while lying to our faces. I simply won't. I'll be getting it for PC once it's on a steam sale for like 10 bucks.

f*ck Cockstar, their greedy publishers, and anybody else who gets offended by what I just said.

I sincerely hope they change their mind and it's released before this year is over in December and that I can look back at this post and laugh. Sadly, I don't think this will happen.

as I read your post, really added to the drama :c

I am. Out of the blue, they seemingly have just pushed back the release date from November 2013, to a few months from now in 2014. They're not capitalizing on the Holiday season, and instead have chosen to release during dead months after everybody is broke spending during the Holidays. It's a backwards business move and a slap to the face of all PC customers.

Slowly the masses begin to accept the date i once proposed...

LMAO. No.

I was waiting for people like you to rear their pretentious heads to grab credit for such things. But guess what, you simply got lucky here. As initially, people like you weren't correct about anything regarding the release date (people who said it was coming 7 or 8 months from now)

And to an extent, you're still not right about it, because the PC version is still coming out well before a 7 to 8 month period. It's been delayed, sure, but that's not the same as the claims some said about it coming out several months from now because "all previous GTA titles on PC took that long".

That logic is flawed and has been disproved already.

"On the other hand, this company (Rockstar) is literally lying to every PC gamer in their face right now."

They are not lying. They stated "we have nothing to share". That isn't a lie, even if the PC version is completely done, it is THEIR game, their IP, and as such they are well within their rights to release it, or to share information about their IP at their leasure.

They have no obligation whatsoever to tell us that the game is done, or in development or any combination you can think off.

I don't get it, why do you think this company has any obligation to you or other pc gamers ? If they don't even bother with a pc version, that would 100% be their choice.

Maybe you should stop talking about C* and show a little respect for a company that has released some of the best games money can buy.

That they don't bow for you is tough luck, nothing more and nothing less.

Mentioning the other sites who also shared it is irrelevant since they all basically copy and pasted the original Eurogamer article anyways. Someone could post that GTA V will be on PC next week, and they'd all post that in the headlines within minutes as well. The mainstream media is a sh*tty source for information, plain and simple.

And it's not what I said either, this information was gathered from people who actually cited their sources, while the idiot who wrote the Eurogamer article cited none.

Anyways, we still don't know with 100% certainty because the only source that even matters at this point, Cockstar, hasn't even uttered a word about any of it yet. So we wait, wait some more, and then we'll finally know.

LOL Dude, just shut up. I never even bother reading any of your posts anymore because either you always think you're right about everything, even when you're clearly wrong, or you're always trying to play the devils advocate. It's gets annoying trying to have discussions with people like that.

Looking at the newswire, they're giving players half a million of in game money for the rocky launch of GTAO.

I wonder what they'll give the PC players.

Well I guess, on a forum such as this, you just have to get used to it.

If you don't like it, don't participate in a discussion, because people are bound to not agree with your views.

I might not know what I'm talking about, but your 180 degree turn is amusing to say the least..

Whoa whoa, again getting down in the dumps because of lack of actual sources ? We shall wait for an actual Rockstar announcement, until then we shall anticipate and wait for Watch Dogs (or anything; pick your poison) that actually has a definitive release date!

Rockstar are greedy as f*ck. Yes, unlike other AAA developers, they are trying to make excellent game and don't hesitate to delay the release date if needed.

But they want all money they can make - selling game on consoles first, thus reducing the number of pirated copies. They take money from Microsoft and Sony for exclusivity of the game, and for those consoles, which will be sold because of the game.

I'm sure that Microsoft and Sony offered money for the exclusivity to many developers of AAA games. Ubisoft and Assasin's Creed for example. But only Rockstar can agree to delay release of the game on PC for 6 months.

They take money from those who'll buy this game twice.

And after that they'll take remaining money from PC gamers.

And Rockstar gives zero f*cks, what you think about it, what you feel.
