Ohhh... i get it now. I was hovering on 3 in my screenshot and the other guy took a screenshot of 8.

It's almost happening guys... not too far now.

GTA IV isn't that bad of a port, it just that the engine is using the bad way to render the game for the PC environment which is CPU rendering method, that is why in GTA IV your processor matter more than your GPU to gain FPS.

 

GTA IV horrible performance is almost exactly how Flight Simulator X perform, both are looking sh*t yet requires way more CPU power and RAM compared with other games that have comparable graphics.

The IV port caught many people off guard. I had upgraded some of my pc before it came out and before the requirements were released...bad idea. I wasn't able to run it even halfway decent. I remember it caused a huge outcry(as it rightfully should have) especially since previous titles didn't seem to suffer as many issues as IV did. But the point being it's been half a decade now and if you were able to upgrade or get a new system, IV ran very good. It's a great game, especially if you can get some of the nice graphics mods working. And for V now, it seems that they developed the game separately so there shouldn't be that many problems.

 

(<PC version would make a good xmas present)

That PlatformID on the Social Club page doesn't mean anything. Try it with IDs from 4 to 8 and I bet you will see NintendoDS even.

Oh man, I wake up and I find more and more proof. Great find on the keyboard sprites, whoever did that.

Forgot about that game. I upgraded my system twice for that game and no matter what I put in, it still ran like sh*t xD I still have the CDs in my room. Maybe one of these days I'll see if I can finally max it out on my current computer.

The announcement before a Japan release was merely speculative. I don't believe anybody actually claimed it would come 100% for sure before the Japan release. Now get lost, party pooper! Yea, this. If nothing happens, oh well. But we've had an influx of buzz killingtons invade this topic recently who try to respond negatively to every post made.

Well, considering that the PC may be the lead platform here, and that the new consoles are using x86 architecture, meaning they could literally make a PS4/Xbone port in a matter of a few weeks or less with all the man power they have, I don't see why they would do this. If they want to maximize their earnings, and they do, then they would be wise to release both at the same time.
